Yea these were teams the Knicks destroy in December but now they lose edge. So you gotta shake it up and put Hill in, he's already benched many players anyway

Mason? Middle tennesee state? Is there such a place? If Mase can "attend" school anyone can.

There is nothing wrong with a rookie who is not going to make an immeadiate impact to sit half a season then get his chance.

This team, this season already has put Gallo and wilson as the future and they are performing.

IM pleased with what MDA is doing. fans want to see results right away. He is working his rooks along slowly. Big woopy.

Im soooo sorry Larry Hughes has been offended.

I hope we can move JJ's contract. The dude is a good role player and a big reason our team playing well.

I think before we start Hill lets give him 15-18 a nite and see him grow into it. A weak cog can stifle the developement of others.

Walk before we run. I doubt Hill is the missing link here. Be nice if we catch lighting in a bottle but I think our coaches would have picked that up if Hill was that good.

Maybe the knew he was lighting in bottle but they save it as a secret weapon and they unleash it on league at just the perfect time!

I was surprised to hear during the telecast that Allan Houston sat all but the final 15 games of his rookie season.

Did Hill play better D on Charlie V than JJ or did Charlie V just miss when guarded by Hill? I couldn't tell.

Sometimes when JJ is on the court it seems like he is trying to cover for other guys just a bit too much. Not that you can overly fault the guy cause it's necessary.

Maybe they were commenting on how he sat all but 15 games of his final season as a Knick.

Hill will be the starting center next year. The kid just needs to add about 10 lbs of muscle this summer, but there is no way Jeffries should be starting over this kid. He has big-time shot-blocking skills and very polished post moves for a rookie. If his frame can support another 20 lbs of muscle, this kid will turn into a beast.

MDA needs to give Hill at least 10 minutes a game from now on and if we fall out of contention for the playoffs, Hill needs to be upped to 25 minutes a game.

Trust the Process

no, charlie V was having to change his shot and threw up some forced bricks.... against jeffries,he was able to back him in the lane and just shoot over him. with Hill, that was not the case... I understand jeffries covers a lot on defense, but I saw a couple of plays where he was just overwhelmed in the post...

We may have wanted to see Hill earlier but I have no problem with coach making a kid earn it and Learn to
improve his effort level. Hill has had no pressure on him and he's been able to work on his game. It's easy to forget how raw he was early and how lost he was.

Jeezus, some of y'all are such flip floppers it's incredible... i've been calling for Hill to get playing time all year & y'all been telling me he wasn't ready & Fishlips was giving us so many valuable intangibles to help us win games... now you want him benched & Hill to see more burn... gotta love this forum.

Man who cares about who was on board with Hill playing earlier or not? The team was winning and it's a coaching decision. Hill was not ready to take on a role to start the year in the eyes of the entire coaching staff. He's gotten personal attention to correct his weaknesses a bit more and that has to help him going forward.

He's a rookie and a guy that was clearly LOST early. I fully trust MDA in wanting to get the kid more mentally prepared to play on this level. Think about it, Hill is being groomed to take on a MAJOR role for this team!

i don't care who was on board, but don't act like you knew this was the way to go all along... Hill is clearly a better player than J Bender & could have easily been productive if given the minutes instead of playing Fishlips 30+ every damn night, i've been telling u this from the get go but for some reason u constantly fall back on the "Jordan Hill wasn't ready" excuse... so let me get this straight, after 18 DNP-CD's in his last 21 games, now all of a sudden he's ready??? dude, MDA can do absolutely no wrong in your eyes... i think that's laughable... there's no such thing as a perfect coach, it's OK to question moves along the way... everyone is open to criticism when your team is 8 games under .500.

flip flopping implies that you irrationally switch positions. as circumstance changes, a person's opinions should be reevaluated. when the knicks were tearing it up, surging in december, no, hill shouldn't play. a few more losses and it's over-- you gotta give it up to hill.

and flip flopping on isiah and marbury? i think that was pretty clear-cut since day1 of both of their knick careers.

plenty of Knicks fans were optimistic when Isiah took over... there were very few naysayers & they all got bashed for doing so, islesfan was labelled a troll by many for standing up for his beliefs & turns out he was right all along... after so many years of Layden's idiotic management of the roster people were desperate for anyone to come in & be the savior... when the Marbury trade was made this team actually started to play very good basketball... then Isiah made the TT trade & it was all downhill from there... people were well within their rights to hate on the Marbury trade as well, but i was optimistic... i was wrong on both counts & i own up to being wrong... i don't pretend like i knew everything was gonna turn out the way it did or try & double talk & come up with excuses for why they didn't... no one's right all the time, just man up to being wrong if you are.
