Oh, we talkin' bout defense. Not the 3s, not the 3s, not the 3s. We talkin' bout defense.

Play defense, don't let Larry Hughes in the game. Those 2 things will lead to a win.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I would really like to find out what caused him to have the forearm injury earlier in the season, and shoulder soreness now.

I thought his back issue was beccause he was trying to put on muscle prior to SL, and I think these injuries are of a similar nature.

IMO he looks a bit more muscular than he did in the beginning of the years, especially his upper body. He is no Ben Wallace, but he just looks bigger out there to me.

Of course I have no proof of any of these being weight training injures, but I don't think it impossible that they are.

forearm was when he was fouled by that guy, i forget who, but it was a flagrant.

shoulder soreness now? no one has a clue.

but yea, he looks like he has gained muscle, so maybe the shoulder soreness is a weight training injury.

Pregame skinny:

New York is 7-2 at Madison Square Garden since losing eight of its first nine home games,

David Lee continues to be outstanding in the post for the Knicks. He had 22 points and 16 rebounds versus the Pacers, and is averaging 20.4 points and 15.6 boards in his last five home games.
Lee has been complemented nicely by Danilo Gallanari, who added 20 points and eight rebounds Sunday. The 6-foot-10, second-year forward has been a strong perimeter player, making 40.8 percent from 3-point range, but he impressed with a thunderous one-handed dunk over 7-2 Pacers center Roy Hibbert

Gallinari had 21 points in New York’s 98-94 home win over Charlotte on Dec. 20, the last meeting between the teams. He could again pose a matchup problem for the Bobcats, perhaps drawing the 6-7 Wallace or 6-8 Stephen Jackson. Wallace who didn't play in that game should be a good test for Gallanari. And Stephen Jackson who left in the third qtr of that game

Wallace scored 32 points Tuesday and is continuing to get more comfortable with Jackson, acquired in a Nov. 16 trade with Golden State.

“We feel real confidence coming into games now because we’re 100 percent on the same page,” said Jackson, averaging 28.0 points in the last four games.

Jackson was held to 10 points on 5-of-15 shooting who left in the third qtr of that game in Charlotte’s last matchup with New York.

Bobcats guard Raymond Felton had a game-high 27 points almost single handedly beat the knicks.

That defeat was part of Charlotte’s 1-14 road record through December, but the Bobcats have beaten Miami and Cleveland in their two road games this month.

Forty-three percent of Knicks point guard (and former Duke Blue Devil) Chris Duhon's assists go to Lee. That's how much New York runs pick-and-roll

this season, and Bobcats coach Larry Brown wasn't happy with how his team handled that Tuesday versus the Chicago Bulls.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If lee gets sidelined who would Duhon give the ball to? How many assist would he avg then.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

My first, and probably last game i'm going to this season (unless they surprise me and actually play well and win). Every game I go to they play terrible, including the last game in Jersey. I was so pumped to see Gallo live and he had like his worst game of the year. Here's to hoping the trend changes tonight!!!

This post circa 2008. Okafor is gone, but as long as we play defense and not settle for 3s we should win this game.
