Sign LeBron, Re-Sign Duhon, Lee, Harrington.... and look to 2011 to "Round out" the roster.

i kind of agree... except i don't think harrington will be back. lebron can fill harrington's role and then some.

duhon being back kind of hurts, but we won't need a point as much with his majesty running the show.

and don't forget that curry and jeffries become expiring deals next season and we can deal them throughout the year for longer commitments because cap room will no longer be an issue.

how do u figure we'll have the cap space to sign Lebron & still hold onto Lee, Harrington & Duhon?

I think we sign Lebron and Lee, give Duhon some spare change to play backup PG, start TD at the 1, and then use whatever we have left to fill out the roster. Harrington doesn't fit and we don't need him for scoring.

We sign the second max guy in 2011, or trade our expirings (Eddy and JJ) for a starter during the season.

i don't see Duhon accepting anything less than what he's making now... when there are guys like Speedy Claxton making that level money, i don't see how Duhon would sign for anything less.

I dont see what purpose there is to resign Harrington if we get LeBron. We have Wilson and Gallo emerging and LeBron with the ball about 75% of the time. Thats 3 fowards who can score, plus Lee and maaaaaaaaybe even Nate pending on things.

I see very little chance that Duhon stays. I think the coaching staff is high enough on Douglas that they may be willing to give him enough of a shot until a more worthy starter comes along.

Walsh seems to like Harrington, and Al has been pretty flexible in terms of accepting his role on the team, be it as a starter or off the bench He is also a local guy, and may sign for less with us, especially if we were somehow able to land Lebron. He is 30ish, and must know that his best years as a player are behind him, and being part of a team that can win a title may be more valuable to him than a few million more per year.

I still see him as an excellent player off the bench when the offense is having trouble scoring. You need at least one Nate or Harrington on your team, IMO- guys who can ignite a sputtering offense and give you 20-30 on any given night if they are on.

My gut feeling is that Walsh and Harrington work out something next year after the free-agent smoke has cleared away.

just looking at a hypothetical rotation working in Lebron, Lee, Al, Fishlips, Gallo, Wilson & Hill, u still need at least 1 more guard & MDA likes to go with an 8 man... that means Hill gets left out of the picture again? i don't see it... i don't think we took this guy #8 overall so he could sit on the bench his first 2 seasons... i think it's gonna be hard to have both Al & Lee on this team next season unless a trade is made from now til then.

C - Lee
PF - Gallo
SF - Lebron
SG - Wilson
PG - Douglas
6 - Al
7 - Fishlips
8 - Hill

This looks probable... But scratch Al. He is not MDA player so he is bound to go.
I see Duhon to stay. MDA is not going to keep players he does'n like with an expense of players he can and want to use.

C - Lee
PF - Gallo
SF - Lebron
SG - Wilson
PG - Duhon
6 - Douglas
7 - Fishlips
8 - Hill
9 - Bender
