The guy needs money and is trying to get a buyout. At least it saves us somthing! But any amount for next year still goes on our cap.

Best thing would be if we could trade him for an expiring and send the max 3 mil for some team to "eat" the rest.

The guy got some nerve to get on the ignorant bandwagon with nate and feel he is done wrong. This guy is a farce. Im sure the team has not been so nice to him but he has not been anything near professional since Larry was here. Larry did wonders for Fat Eddy and Jackie "Blue" Butler. Go figure.

The Knicks played this fat bastard roughly $22 mil over the past 2 years so his fat ass can sit and eat ice cream while his knees were bio-genetically engineered to support his tonnage.

His life falls apart and the team supports him. They hide his man-tit ridden body so the press doesn't have to bust out the wide angle lens for the two page spread of his fat ass in food-rehab.

Now this Jabba the Hut wannabe is gonna bitch and moan that he isn't playing?!? **** you Eddy. **** you, and **** each and every one of the horses that you ate while at the all you can eat Chinese buffet.

You want to play opt out. You hold the cards. You can't complain about a problem you hold all the cards to EASILY solve you dumb piece of dog ****!

So how do you really feel, Joe? LOL.

I agree. Curry brought this on himself. You can't basically take the last 2 years off, and then come back and start demanding PT, especially when your game clearly is not helping the team.

5 years a 12 million dollars? For what?

ARGH!

I just cant believe there is no way of cutting a contract of someone that is as disgracing to the game. CBA my ass! That is a disgrace to basketball as it is. The salary cap is a nice thing, but in a case like this, its totally one sided pro-player...

Just out of interest, is there a way to get a article in a contract that says "if you cant behave like a pro, you get fired"? Like is for everybody else out there in the real world.

"three bacon double cheeseburgers with a frosty and a few five piece chicken nuggets--or a 12 piece family meal for myself with three additional sides and a boatload of gravy?"

has a sweet rotation right now, maybe a bit thin and guys are getting worked hard. He's playing the guys who want to win, who give something to the game (e.g., respect, motivation, effort) and are not just using it as a meal ticket. Eddy isn't one of those guys, so he isn't going to get minutes, he won't get onto the wood and f*uck things up. MDA is playing this situation correctly, and I am sure Walsh is letting him. Eddy won't be able to play himself into a trade. He is just going to have to ride the pine until his paper expires.

We should all accept that his deal will be on our cap next year. It doesn't matter. Lebron (or whomever, but probably Lebron) will accept it, knowing that his team will have $18mil to sign the second max guy in 2011, and a very solid core of Gallo, Chandler, Hill, Douglas and Lee (yes we resign him using Bird rights). Add in a few motivated team guys with skills and lowish cap hits (LH? Bender?) and we may have ourselves just the sort of contender we all have wet dreams about. MDA is a BIG part of that. Ditto for Donnie. They are building a winner here. The grown-ups are in the house now.

Eddy is a side note, the final vestige of Isaiah's bukkake into NYC hoop fans faces. The fresh towel will arrive this summer to wipe it away. And in a year or two we will be dancing in the streets.
