Lee is a good athlete. I don't worry about Al. Chandler is a world class athlete. Hughes is a good athlete.
Duhon worries you because he broke down last year. But we have Douglas this year to back him up.

guys are showing signs now they aren't built for 40 a night. to run this team if duhon breaks down again is alot to put on tony 5 mpg douglas

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

What djsu said

Short rotations also translate to better knowing where your teammate is on defense

"He's the best penetrator on the team."

nixluva - are you really advocating that 5'7 Nate is better at driving to the rack than the 6'8 gazelle known as The Mayor?

C'mon man!

Vote Early and Often

martin - The Mayor appreciates your support and patience while he regained his basketball conditioning and confidence from his Summer of inactivity. The operation took longer than anticipated to heal and the process of resuming at full speed was a challenge. He has informed me that he is encouraged by the recent results and only works to get better in the coming weeks.

The Mayor also wishes all of his loyal constituents a happy and prosperious New Year.

Sincerely

The Office Of Wilson Chandler

these guys will be gassed down the road if MDA continues w/these huge minute loads, especially the vets... we saw what happened to Duhon last year in the second half of the season... & Hughes is not exactly durable or a spring chicken anymore, u gotta get him some rest too... MDA needs to expand his rotation soon cuz these guys won't be able to keep up this level of play on a short rotation this year IMO.

I would do exactly the same thing as Coach right now. Keep the pedal to the metal and go with your best guys. Get the Knicks into the playoff picture and worry about the last 20 games of the season later. There is stil the possibility of more trades to bring in fresher bodies.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I'm with ya Kam. Win as many games you can right now and see where it takes you. If we fall down at the end of the season then we fall down, but I don't think this team is deep enough to expand the rotation right now.

The Knicks have insurance at guard with Toney Douglas and in the frontcourt with Landry. Stay with what is working Continue to play the best 7 players available and emphasize better shot selection and tenacious defense

if it ain't broke don't fix it

but if dantoni keeps them running at this pace theyre not gonna have bodies to finish the season with, let alone for a potential playoff run. if im a knicks fan, my goal would be to try to get into the playoffs so that the guys can get some experience and continue to build upon regular season success. if they go the route of what some of you guys are advocating and dont expand the rotation by a few players, the season could end up a major disappointment if they're in the hunt down the stretch and dont have the conditioning to finish strong. that would be a shame considering how they've played the last month.

I'm with you jimi... playing these guys all these minutes is gonna catch up to them sooner or later... what good is making a run at the playoffs if they're all too gassed out by the end of it to be productive down the stretch? makes no sense... MDA needs to find a way to blend in another guy at least into this rotation IMO... not saying he has to do it right now, but by the midway point we should really be looking seriously into doing it.

personally i think he shouldn't even be worried about a playoff run at this point & should be focusing on getting Curry or Hill some burn right now, but that's just me.

coaches want to win. he ain't gonna play someone he has no confidence in. knicks are 8-3. let him do what he wants b/c the results are there.

The last time around the Knicks were a legit team under JVG, the rotation was never more than 8 players. So I don't buy the argument you have to have 9-10 guys playing.

This is a young team besides, not like they have a bunch of 33+ year old players who need their minutes monitored.

A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
