Briggs: A lot of guys like tyreke evans, even on real gm we had about 100 posters who loved the kid.. I wasn't that high on him at first, but I was wrong, he is better than I thought, or better sooner than I thought.. but you touted every player, from guys like fesenko to BJ mullens, so it is no suprise to see you correct about a player when you pretty much mention every player in the draft... Not to say, you don't follow these college kids and do some research. I am sure you do.. but really, with the back patting session, you pretty much back a bunch of guys, so lets pipe down a bit.... LOL.. You hedge your bets pretty good...

That's cool. Ill tell you what--go find me just 1 person who posted as voraciously as I did about Evans including description projection and talent level--not jus this kid is great BS--I mean go back and look at the content of my posts and if you can find 1 person--I will send you two excellent tickets[ to any Knick game. I like BJ Mullens I still do--he's going to take some time to develop--he was a freshmen and isn't ready yet. He's got a lot of skills for a 7 footer and an excellent touch--if he trains hard and stays healthy he will be a very good NBA 5--I'm sure of it.
Yes I say things about more than 1 guy because there are hundreds in each draft. I just started to name names of 2nd rounders and believe me by the end of the year everyone else will also. I never tell anyone what to do--so dont tell me to pipe down--this isnt real GM and you have no say here my man. I don't bother anyone here and most people who post here arent 14YO like real gm.

I don't need any say here to tell you to stop with all the back patting.. but I will call you out on it for sure... you can take shots at some of the guys on realgm, but that is very 14 year oldish briggs.. some of the guys who were dead set on tyreke evans know basketball also briggs..they were as sure about him as you claim you were, they pointed out his college stats broke them down and even went back to his HS gays.... Again, I never said you don't do your homework on some of these guys, but you are not the only one.. You tend to pat yourself on the back but it is funny how you distance yourself from guys you praised that didn't do so well... that is cool, but with praise comes criticism... be willing to accept one with the other....

He asked who liked Tyreke Evans--I responded. If I look back most people wanted Ricky Rubio as their main guy--poster after poster, sprinkled with with some others but Ricky Rubio was by far the most heralded guy --that is just the truth. I said Tyreke ERvans would blow Ricky Rubio's door in--I made a post like that. I know others watch and post about players and make great calls as well--but I don't tell them to pipe down---?????

Why shouldn't Briggs pat himself on the back on this one?
He was all over Tyreke, when most here were not.
In a world when most posters are way off on their predictions, Briggs has a pretty good record.

ok, briggs.. LOL.. sorry to bother you bro... but that is not really the truth.. a lot of people were also very high on curry and that is because he was a realistic choice.. a guy who could fall to #8... rubio was a pipe dream for many.... But tyreke evans name was thrown all over the boards on realgm.. I know a poster "bno" was a huge evans supporter.. he wasn't talked about as much by some, because we knew he wasn't going to be there at #8, just like talking about blake griffin would be silly....... but hey, you hit the nail on the head briggs.. your trophy is in the mail...

sorry to bother you bro... my bad, you think I would be used to this by now...

I am willing to bet that if you go back through the history of predictions pretty much everyone on this board(including Briggs) is in the same category(bad to mediocre). Everyone pipes up when they get one right and clams up when their "boy" sucks the big one. Only to pipe up again when that guy plays well. It's the nature of sports predictions.
I just hope that people will like me

Why would i come to a Knicks board touting Evans when i knew all summer the Knicks had no shot at landing him.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Let me just say right now then... get it out of the way, John Wall will be great.
I'm going to remember this thread next year and come back to it to prove to everyone.

That's not true. In the earlier mock drafts he was not projected to go as high as he did.

I said record. Never contest. But since you've made it into one, why don't you stop telling us who
some guy over at Real GM liked in the draft and tell us who you liked.

I liked curry.. I won't deny that, and I like terrance williams(not at pick 8) and I liked earl clark... If evans had slipped, I would have taken him, no doubt, but I knew he would be gone... I will admit. I wasn't as high on tyreke as some other were. I knew he had the size and skill to be a top player from this draft down the road, but as I posted earlier, I was completely wrong as to how soon he would be this good... I have no problem, admitting that... but in this draft, I felt Jordan hill needed another year in college, that is documented, I liked earl clark, and I would have been happy with steph curry at 8.. I can live with that...I also sold flynn short as well... knew he would be good, but not this good, this fast... we have a lot of suprises this year with some of these picks...

I agree, but some people will stand up when their boy sucks.. I liked steph curry.. still do, but I would have taken him over jennings, I won't front, and so far, it doesn't look like that would have been the best pick... LOL....

LOL.. ok, I am going to be a hypocrite right now, and eff it.. I can't resist. LOL..

heck, I guess it is not hypocritical, I will admit my mistakes as well... LOL..It happens..
