Morrow is untouchable.

I think Curry is also, which is ironic because the fans are NOT enamored with him at all, and he's played pretty poorly. He makes Nate's defense look first team and the game is too fast for him right now. Can he adjust? Maybe, but the concerns about him at this level are exactly whats causing him problems. First and foremost he's NOT a PG.

LeBron likes Curry. They're boys...Curry could help us recruit Lebron (along with D'Antoni)...I'd bring Steph Curry here for that alone. Plus, let's be honest, he's a very good talent. Curry would really blow up playing next to LeBron James...

I agree with you dude.

Is Curry playing PG in GS? I would imagine Monta has the ball in his hands a majority of the time, which leads me to believe Curry is playing off the ball. If he is infact playing SG, I can see why he's having issues at this level. Right now he doesn't have the strength to matchup with opposing SGs, which is going to make him look horrid defensively.

I think if we brought him here and instantly inserted him into a PG role, I think he's going to look a whole lot better.

ok I'll bite. Here is what your offering GS for their last two (and highly regarded) prospects in the draft

Curry: another $12mm next year for a guy who cant stay on the court. Missed 20+ games two years ago and has played 70 minutes in the last 2 seasons combined. Yes.. thats minutes
Nate: benched, doesnt have Bird rights so you cant resign him to anything but the MLE
Douglas: isnt in the rotation
Hill: cant get into the rotation

Dude, thats terrible. Try to be realistic

Don't really have too much of an interest in anyone else on that team...

If we ever put together a blockbuster to get Randolph AND Ellis (to get both of those guys together in the same deal, I wouldn't care what young pieces we'd had to give up -- Hill, Doulgas, Gallinari, a future pick or two, whatever man -- even Lee & Nate though I doubt they'd agree to go there), now you can stand there with a straight face when you sit LeBron down next off-season to sell him on the Knicks' future. LeBron..Ellis...Anthony Randolph...Even if we'd have to renounce everyone else on the roster, that's a PHENOMENAL trifecta to go forward with right there...If we ever got to a position to put those 3 together, you piece together the rest of the roster with role players just like Chicago did with Jordan & Pippen and go to war...IMO, for Randolph & Ellis, you go all-in on a trade like this. Not so much for Randolph & Maggette (Corey's contract is awful, not to mention he'd add to the SF logjam we already have - in your trade scenario, would you really want to bring him here to play ahead of AR, Chandler or Gallo??). No thanks to Corey Maggette but it sounds like we might be able to do something with Golden State here.. If we can get Randolph & Ellis and still maintain enough of a salary slot to add one max FA, it's a no-brainer if ever there was one...

Now I'm dying to wake up one of these mornings and read in the paper that Walsh is having conversations with the Warriors....Pick up the phone Donnie. Where there's smoke, there's fire -- he's gotta jump on this before some other team out there engages the Warriors..

LET'S GO!!!!!!!

so you would sell out gallanari and hill, and any good piece we have to get a nut and turnover machine(ellis) and a mental midget and headcase( randolph)? LOL.. thank god you are not our GM.. no offense, but I don't see the sense in that at all.. why is he on the market so soon? I know GS and nelson can be a little cooky and odd, but why do you think this guy is already on the market? Golden state would glady take gallo and we would watch him go out there and aveage 22/7/4 easily shooting 46%..... while most of you would be cursing randolph as he loses his mind trying to play in NY... I am not sure I trust that kids mental makeup.. he looks troubled..

I would try to do a more sensible deal involving morrow and curry if they would move him.. morrow would give us the SG with size that we really need...

So you are saying that the only way we can get anything from GS is if we take a bad contract? If that is the case then no deal.

I'm just trying to be realistic. Either you give fair talent (which your proposals dont come close to doing) or you take back more talent + a bad contract. Thats how trades in the NBA work.

Michael Redd perhaps? his contract isn't as heinous as Maggette or Ellis'... i can see Nellie signing off on that type of deal to dump a longterm salary using a sweetener asset like AR, but he'll have to remain healthy til the deadline & start putting up some numbers again like last season for that to happen... or maybe Vince Carter? T-Mac is another option but same situation w/Redd, he'll have to show he can stay healthy & produce again for Nellie to pull the trigger on getting him too... Caron Butler is another possibility if WAS is willing to take back Maggette's contract.

Redd cant get on the court and no way Magic trade Vince. They just traded FOR him and went into the tax because they want to win a title and think they can. Not saying that something cant surface but if they want to make a move its very slim pickins. Usually is

I am not sure why they would want Boozer. He is a good player that is going to take the first good offer out there. Ellis/AR for Boozer makes sense for them if they are clearing cap adding the scoring guard and knicks pick would make them very dangerous.

Washington needs to move Arenas and Jamison before they move Butler. Bosh makes sense I just don't see them doing it which is crazy because he is going to walk at years end. Colangelo has really done an awful job of capping out that team and destroying its future this offseason.

And we don't need Jennings and AR teaming up, Redd isn't bad if they got rid of Ellis.

I think in the right environment which New York will be very soon once Hughes/Harrington/Nate are all gone at seasons end this deal makes the knicks a handful. Lee/Jefferies/Chandler for Ellis/AR isn't bad either. Douglas-Ellis-FA-Gallo-Hill-AR 6th man.

Redd just got back & played his 1st game in a little while on Sat... put up 11 pts. on 5 for 11 shooting but did give them 29 minutes, so his conditioning seems to be there... much more extensive run than what T-Mac got his 1st game back last night.

arenas and his contract is pretty much unmovable!! mount Everest , rock of gilbraltar.... his deal pretty much guarantees he will be a wizard the rest of his basketball career... who would take arenas with his knees, mouth and game along with that contract?

Lee/Jefferies/Chandler for Ellis/AR isn't bad either. Douglas-Ellis-FA-Gallo-Hill-AR 6th man.

GS probably feel they can get more for these two than that... AR as a 6th man? if his potential is that high as some here feel, why stick him behind hill who hasn't played yet... and I am not so sure about monta ellis.. really, i am not... what is the difference between him and guys like harrington.. and I mean mentality on the basketball court? do you see the way he turns the ball over..

he has had games of 11,9 several 7,5 and 4 turnover games.. the guy is a turnover machine.. he averages almost aveages four and a half per game!

The kid is ****ing 20 of course he is going to turn the ball over. Who doesn't at that age? Whatever start him I don't care how he is used. Lamar Odom's skill set is similiar so it was just a suggestion.

first of all, I was talking about monta ellis.. and even if I were talking about randolph that is still way too many turnovers for any player that doesn't dish out 10+ assists!
