I was not high on Jennings, specially when he was calling out players in his interview. Rubio and the like.

I was very high on DeRozan however. I would have liked to have that guy running around MSG. Would have definitely plugged an area of need.

still..I am not going to kill Donnie for selecting Hill. He was very high on everyone's list.

thats fair... leave it at "we need to find out why this happened and correct that, I am to blame... bla bla bla." I think your right dude

I DON'T BUY IT, Walsh is covering his tracks, DAMAGE CONTROL.

Thats what I'm saying. So the scouts say he's very good, but because they didnt bring a shotgun to the meeting and literally threaten you with bodily harm, they're to blame and not your dumb ass?

What kind of weak ass, bellyachin', "imma blame the next man for my fault" nonsense is this?

Like others have said, if Isiah was still here, Jennings would be here so Walsh missed me with all that. We would also have a million overpaid "stars" and enough drama to power day time soap for the next 15 years but that's another topic.

The Knicks didn't select Jennings, so there is no need for Walsh to point fingers and play the blame game- he should just learn from the mistakes made, and move on, remembering not to repeat those mistakes in future drafts.

was wondering myself, but perhaps he needs to send Dolan a message.

that was my take. Seems like a powerplay by Walsh. If you want the best results I need my people, not the last guy's. I wonder how much those guys are making

If he's not careful, he may find himself giving roadside interviews soon...

So is a defensive stopper in the middle, weak side defender too.

We needed BPA, but instead took BPP - Biggest Possible Project.

My take is Walsh is using this as a ploy to get some of his people in here. Dolan can piss money away players but not staff?

Let the godfather have his people. Jennings is going to be fine but the kid is wearing down fast already and his shooting % the last nine games is only 30%. Wearing down the first 20 games is not impressive.

IM not being sour on Jennings BTW. Actually I think its just fine for Walsh to use this to further clean the stench of Isiah. Dolan still has his Isiah man love? Thats disturbing!

I agree. Donnie wants his guys in the front office and it's only fair. I'm sure he wants to set up a successor to himself so he can retire at the end of his four year deal.

jennings is not wearing down. being double teamed everytime you touch the ball was hard on 6'10 kevin durant at that age as well. he'll adjust. last night was a start.

thought Walsh had 3 yrs. Regardless, its evident Donnie can't trust Zeke's people to do the right thing while he naps.

a year ago everyone was killing donnie for gallo over randolph, gordon, lopez, joe alexander (muahahahaha that was fish).

the best thing to get over jennings is for hill to get pt and to continue his progression. he’s so much more active , aggressive and impactful than he was earlier in the season.

well according to this story, we're not the only ones killing people over passing on Jennings. We didnt hear about this sort of infighting and backbiting over the Gallo pick, so it's clear that Donnie knows HE made a mistake this time around.

Knicks management are very skeptical over the potential of Hill especially as opposed to Jennings.

so what do you do at this point? i think donnie should stfu about it to the press and take his wrath out internally and behind closed doors. as far as hill goes, i think it's apparent to everyone that he's not the bust that he looked like at the beginning of the season.

hopefully its apparent to the Blazers too. I believe Walsh was a big fan of Bayless 08 draft. To walk into 010 with him and Gallo on rookie contracts is a coup

yea. It just goes to show how much of an incompetent idiot dolan is... He can't even break ties with a guy who destroyed his franchise.. Hoenstly, I never wish bad luck on anyone, just not the thing to do, but boy, I would love for this guy dolan to just go away... dissapear for about a year or 10... really, he is such a douche...

MDA and Walsh were high on Gordon, not sure about Bayless. My guess is that Hill will get as many minutes and be about as productive as Bayless was in his first year.

I still don't find Jennings intriguing.

Yes, he is having a rookie season to remember, but something just seems off.

I can picture him cooling off bigtime.

watched him play for the first time last night. he is lightning quick and can get to anywhere on the court he wants. if his jumper is consistent, he will be very difficult to stop. and this is with a team that opposing defenses don't have to guard the 2/3/4 closely. when redd comes back, i think jennings game becomes better...

he should get way more calls than he does as well. however, refs swallowing their whistles will force him to become a better finisher
