Bip just imagine what the knicks would be today if we would have kept Ernie Grunfeld instead of Jeff vandundy. We would have never fallen victim to the ewing & vangundy onslaught on the knicks future. IMHO that's where the slide started. Ewing should have finished off his contract with the knicks so we could have utilized his salary for real players instead of washups Longley and Glen rice etc...

not to mention we never would have made that God awful trade for McDyess cuz Layden woulda never been hired, which also means Isiah woulda never been hired.
