Yes, a foundation, a frame work, a "This is what we do here and when we sign you you are going to be joining a system." Versus "Let's sign a bunch of random players and then try to hire a coach to tailor a system best fit for a bunch of misfits!" (you know, Isiah's way).

What happens on the court by virtue of these idiot players is not a reflection of what the coaching staff, who will be here beyond 75% of this roster, is doing in practice.

i see it differently, cos. who could sign off on a "system' that gives a bunch of crappy outside shooters the green light to randomly chuck 3's? and fails to try to capitalize on cuts and ball movement to set up better shots? and fails to position players for potential offensive rebounds. and fails to give adequate pt to 1st rounders including a lotto pick, both of whom obviously can play in the league today and already added a lot more on the court than guys in front of them. exactly what has done this year to earn any credibility about establishing a "system?"

The system is about getting players wide open shots, which it does, but it will do it only in the positions you choose to camp out at. In this case our lazy "we know we wont be here next year" idiot players are just camping outside.

The system does call for more 3 pointers, all wide open 3 pointers, but it also calls for fast break layups, back door dunks, and mid range pops. The problem is the players we have now only have the mental capacity to understand "chuck it from 25 feet out."

That will change when you add the personnel to the system.

And, as I said, this roster couldn't succeed under ANY coach.

They're also not meant to be here to win games. The majority are here to expire so we can be FA players and build a new team starting next year. STARTING.

I think this is lost...I think some think we hired Mike and traded for Al and Hughes with a grand playoff run in mind. Not true no matter the PR lip service you hear/read.

We're rebuilding and a part of rebuilding is changing the culture. The GM and coach represent a changing in the culture. A culture we will add new players too - players who will buy into that culture and excel in it.

Just because Nate, Al, Hughes, Duhon - are all idiots - doesn't mean we should get on Walsh and Mike. They have a greater plan in place - ONE THAT DOESNT BEGIN UNTIL JULY!

I hate watching this team suck but there is a plan in place. One that, thanks to Isiah, can't be implemented until next summer at the earliest.

To me, the clock doesn't start on Walsh and Mike until July 1st, 2010. It's as if we hired them that day to build a new team. From there they get 18 months from me to prove they can pull it off.

i'm getting real sick of D Lee's constant crying to the refs everytime he doesn't get a call... just play the game like u did last year dude... ur not that good that u can expect to get those calls all the time.
