He's going to get far better experience at the NBA level in practice then he will going against competition he played against and proved better then in college. However in our situation there is no leadership and I am of the opinion that if our guy is not playing you get him as far away from the veteran antics as possible

What "antics"?

Damn you caught me. There are no "antics" to site. I just made that up to get attention

I just hope that people will like me

TMS wrote:all i know is every time i see Hill get minutes he produces... he shows a nice touch from the perimeter, he shows good aggressiveness going after rebounds, & he shows a willingness to stand in the paint & try to block or at least alter shots... in 5 minutes this guy will put up more than Fishlips does in 20, & he still can't get playing time.

until the trade deadline passes i don't see anything changing... MDA is gonna keep playing Jeffries in the vain hope that he'll find some sucker GM out there willing to take him off our hands... in the meantime if Hill's not gonna see minutes, i say let him get burn in the D-Leagues & see game action.

That is all I see. The kid is good. It is clear MDA is not going to give him more than spot minutes now that Curry is back. I would send Hill down to the d-league and let him compete with the competition down there. If nothing else, it would showcase him in the event we can work a deal for Bosh before the trade deadline.

Mullens did nothing in college to merit being a first round pick. What did he have? 2 good games? He's a big athletic dude and thats it. He's a long shot to be in the league after his rookie contract.

Meanwhile the most dominating defensive player in college last year is terrible. If anyone has seen any of the 25 minutes Thabeet has played this year you can see why I called him a taller Steven Hunter. Sorry not impressed.

Jordan Hill has shown some nice skills when he's gotten into games. He needs to learn how not to foul everyone and he needs some game time once we get rid of a couple of our overplayed vets. If he just sits most of the year and gets spot apperances I expect him to do good things next year. He's got very nice offfensive moves and has a good NBA body. With the exception of Griffin, Hill was the best big in the draft

thats probably why most teams picking in the 1st round went with a pg or wing player

That's an insult to Steve Hunter. Thabeet is going to be one of the biggest busts in lottery history.

fair enough.. and obviously we blew the Jennings pick. He was in here twice and the bottom line is DW or MDA didnt like him. Why I dont know but clearly they didnt. Obviously they wanted Curry. I am guessing they would have taken Rubio also. Dont know about Flynn. We know they loved Hill and were blown away by the skill set he showed in his workout. Water under the bridge. Hill is still going to be a good player, and this team does have size issues
