Bro, skills aside, you try to guard someone 40 lbs heavier and 3 inches taller? I know from rec-league (B league), this is no easy task.

go over the 10 games we have played and name me the players Lee has had to guard. Then look at the guys that play the PF position. Lee isnt guarding Shaq and Horford every night. Most nights its another PF type playing the 5

There is no team here. And, I guess, some of that has to do with MDA. But a lot has to do with the VERY uncomfortable position that these guys are placed in.

But I don't see an alternative to this situation considering our future plans. This season, the way it's playing out, is almost necessary for a winning team. The thing is that our 1st ovverall pick next draft was traded away by that TREACHEROUS ISIAH THOMAS AND HIS SELFISH REIGN, WHERE HE JUST LITERALY THREW AWAY OUR ASSETS FOR PEANUTS IN ORDER TO BENEFIT HIMSELF AND HIS CRONIES.

i still don’t think that trade was the problem. at the time it was a good trade for us. it paid immediate dividends for us, and if isiah hadn’t turned around and traded kvh/doleac for tt/nazr, we probably would have continued winning, with marbury recording double figure assists every night while setting up his jump-shooting core of h2o, kvh, doleac and kt. keep that group together and build a winning culture with lenny at the helm and history might have been extremely different.

biggest disappointment of the year so far has been Walsh. It's hard for everyone on a team to perform up to expectations without a good point guard. Ramon Sessions could have been a Knick and was the best available PG to any team with only the MLE to spend.

Wolves coach Kurt Rambis will give more minutes to backup PG Ramon Sessions as long as Sessions is "doing the proper things out there on the floor."
Sessions had 13 points and eight assists in 26 minutes on Saturday -- the eight assists were the most by any Wolves player this season. However, Rambis said he is "still not sure" about deploying Sessions and Jonny Flynn as a tandem. Nov. 17 - 1:23 am et

Lee played out of position last year too. I never heard D'antoni say LEE needs to take jumpers.

Considering this season had "trainwreck" written all over it, I'm going to say the biggest disappointments this year are Wilson Chandler, Jordan Hill, and Gallo.

I never thought Chandler was going to be a star but I thought he'd develop into a reliable 15-7 guy that was a starter for a decade in the L. Right now it looks like he'll be lucky to survive past the rookie paygrade.

Jordan Hill is a disappointment because he hasn't played. Remains to be seen why he hasn't played but I would have liked to have seen some knee jerk threads along the lines of "HILL = AMARE ON AMPHETAMINE!!1!1!!!"

And Gallo has been disappointing not because of his performance but because of the way built him up in the preseason. I think my expectations were high and unfair.

How great did Phil Jackson look when the team didn't have the horses to win, then all of a sudden they add some good talent around Kobe and voila! Phil's the greatest again.

MDA didn't seem to have any problem motivating his PHX teams. I think the biggest issue is Duhon, cuz for MDA that PG is the player that makes everything go. MDA put major faith in Duhon and has backed him to the hilt. It's time Duhon repay him for that loyalty with some inspired play and leadership. I think someone got it wrong earlier, Duhon has played better than this in his career. Al Harrington is the one that is being what he's always been, so how is that a major dissappointment? No one expected Duhon to get much worse in his 2nd yr under MDA. Most thought AL was all talk and would be the player he's always been.

how could it be anyone other than Walsh and D'Antoni?

wiffing on brandon jennings has set this franchise back quite a few years. then they could have at least corrected course by signing Sessions and they wiffed again.

i dont know if jennings is that significant....yet only 10 games in, lets see how he does the rest of the year. i happen to think he will be special but only time will tell.

i think, the better statement is..."wiffing on lebron next year will set this fanchise back quite a few more years"

Why did you think that ? Well all know danphoney's system inflats the stats of his players .

He's a gm's worse nightmare when it comes around to contract time ! His system makes guys think they are better than what they really are.

This is why nobody was knocking on the door of Nate or Lee this summer.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I'm really disappointed in Marcus Landry. As far as I can see, he has contributed nothing.

i'm not really disappointed by Lee, he was a ****ty defender the past few years, i knew he was gonna be a ****ty defender this year... he brings what i expected him to bring.

i'm more disappointed by how Wilson Chandler's been playing this year... i thought after last season he was gonna have a breakout season this year, but he's regressed & looks completely lost this year... i hope he gets it together but so far i think he's definitely the biggest disappointment on this team, w/Nate possibly a close 2nd, cuz i expected a lot more out of him also (but for his part he's been hampered by injury for most of the season so i'll give him somewhat of a pass)

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

His system stink. I don't know how many time I seem Lee just let someone just drive past him with out even lifting a hand.D'Antoni allows this to happen. Maybe these players are angry because The Knicks are throwing this season away.
And we think we are getting LeBron James. Ha

You really can't blame these guys because there is only a certain breed of players that can really play on the big stage that is NY and they are called superstars. The Knicks are devoid of one. This is what needs to happen. D'Antoni needs to just call this season and let Hill, Douglass, Gallo, Chandler and Curry and Darko and Landry get all the run. The season is lost make the move now and win or lose don't look back. Its a waste of time giving run to Lee, Harrington, Hughes and Duhon. These guys are ending contract chumps they are not going to give you their best which is getting everyone involved they are mercenaries, and they could care less about win and losses they want their stats that will lead them to another contract. This is going to come at the expense of the team concept.

You can't say Lee is the biggest disappointment this year with the same numbers he put up last year, 17 & 9 on 54%. Yes, he's playing for numbers because he wants that contract, but who doesn't ? All players want their numbers maximized, especially Kobe and Lebron out of all people. I admit his defense sucks, but that is an afterthought these days, I'm blaming D'antoni.

Someone can say "the players are the ones losing" all they want, but their record makes me wonder what D'antoni has them doing in practice. 1-9 ? Seriously ?

Isiah did better.

Holy cow did I just say that ?

You know what it is, it's the shootarounds. Bring back the shootarounds. And Lee averaged 18/13 after the trade.
