marv's a steel curtain on D. it wasn't fair that i had to check bitty, anyone's gonna get exploited in that situation.

good point, u can't stop bitty, u can only hope to contain her.

David Lee is my favorite Knick but in terms of team first--I think they dropped the ball on getting value on him long ago. He should be a solid PF on a good team that has a C who can also post and toast. He's added his J and his rebounding and interior play has gone down--look at the noticeable slip in rebounding. This is kind of a function of him trying to fit in and what is ALSO wring with Mike D so-called system. You want everyone to be able to score--but some guys do it from 3-5 feet without a jumper and are pretty darn good at it. D Lee is actually one of these guys but since Mike D will only play 1 big he is way to small--you cannot win in the nBA with a 6-8 C--our middle is exploited on a nightly basis. We need to try to get value for D Lee[our best veteran asset--although I think he may not be the best asset because of his advances salary position and down turn in game--hey what happened to the 37-21 guy from last year--I know he is too focused in the frikin jumper now. I really do believe we need to purge for assets right now.

Amare would block a shot at least, or at least attempt to alter a guy's shot in the paint... Lee seems allergic to contact in the paint playing defense.

face it, the time to do that was last year before the trade deadline... remember we had these arguments last year & u told me we'd be foolish to trade these guys for low lottery/mid 1st round draft picks... too late now, Donnie missed the boat on getting value for these guys in a trade... both Nate & Lee hold veto rights over any trade so unless u move them to a team that benefits them & where they will wanna sign extensions longterm, they're not likely gonna wanna go there.

Amare's jazz hands under Mike could've outcomposed Duke Ellington

I saw that clean block from Stephen Curry and David Lee's response, but I did not get what he tried to do. Particulary he did this in the garbage time. If he wants to send some message, that should happen much earlier in the game.

Why dont we try starting Hill or Darko at 5 next to Lee? I mean he's a hell of a finisher and rebounder lets slide him back to where he's comfortable at the 4. Have Gallo or Chandler start at 3 depending on the matchups. We're 1-9, whats the harm in that

too bad Curry didn't get into the game really until garbage time, Lee didn't have anyone to step to... if he'd gotten into Kelena Azabuike's face all those times he watched him drive to the hole for a wide open dunk he mighta gotten his face caved in from the aftershock.

I don't think lee is innocent in the least bit. I just feel he is probably the person being miscast the most especially on D and that goes to coaching moreso than to the player.

Lets be honest. MDA hasn't publically said this but its still the same "shotblocking is overrated" approach that Isiah used. It sounded stupid and incompetent then and it looks stupid and imcompetent now.

I don't want to take too much from a game against the warriors, not Gallo and not for Hill,b ut both did play awesome.

Hill should play over Lee at this point, or try to ship Lee out ASAP with Jeffries, wait on Curry and then ship him out with Chandler

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Lol so he intentionally waited a rookie to block him and finally found opportunity to erupt.

I still thought we should have kept Frye instead or traded (the untouchable)Lee last year.

Where exactly are we gonna trade Lee to?

Every team in the league had an opportunity to "pry" Lee from us on the cheap and they were zero takers. I understand that team's salary caps change from year to year but if someone wanted him so bad they would have grabbed him.

Hopefully there is a team in the playoff hunt this year that can benefit from a player that can give you double doubles on a consistent basis and they pull the trigger on a deal. I think that the Knicks will just let Lee walk away for nothing at the end of the year...

i don't disagree w/u here... if we had a stud shotblocking C then Lee would actually be a nice player to have... i think i've been 1 of the most outspoken advocates around here for bringing in a shotblocking presence... i thought Darko might help solve some of those problems but he hasn't been given enough of a run to make a difference one way or the other... as soon as MDA gets it into his head that playing Fishlips doesn't help us win games, the better... maybe it will free up some minutes for Darko & Hill to at least make guys think twice before strolling into the paint for easy layups.

Miki Moore sets a screen on Douglas who is guarding Ellis. Knicks switch Lee onto Ellis -- Ellis blows by Lee layup.

Repeat same scenario for everyone on the GS roster....Lee can't play the pick and roll. The sad part is -- if we don't switch -- Lee can't play the big guy on the roll either -- they just roll take a pass and dunk on us.

Lee is worthless on that end of the court.

I've never seen anyone softer at the 4 or 5 position.

Mikki Moore was invisible because he's Mikki Moore... he's a scrub... u still think Jordan Hill reminds u of that guy dude? come on... i know u can tell the difference in those 2 guys at this point even w/the limited sample, it's not too hard to see.
