You know, you really gotta be careful when you start praising Micheal Jordan for his skills on the court. He does well when he was 4 other players around him during a game, but if he were to play 1 against 5, then I think his inherent flaws would become obvious.

The only thing that concerns me about D'Antoni's business model is the amount of freedom he allows players to hoist long range shots. Of course, the benefits can be immediate, but as the team playing personality evolves, the halfcourt game becomes essential when facing down opponents inevitable offensive surges.

The one benefit of a fixed rotation that few people comment on is that players who know their earned minutes are safe, have no need to force things.

Watching this squad become a team is a beautiful thing.
