He doesnt break down defenses and does very little to set up the offense. He brings up the ball and they pass it around the perimeter until someone jacks up a 3. Douglas or Nate can do that just fine.

There is none, zero, zilch doubt that Douglas is a rotation player in this league and a good one.

Anyone killing DW for taking him over Blair or anyone can chill out. Douglas can play. He can score (he could ALWAYS score) and he is a bigtime defender. He's a great combo of quickness and power and has enough length to challenge shots. He reminds me a lot of the Chris Childs we THOUGHT we were getting when we signed him from the Nets.

Duhon looks slow, he has trouble finishing on a drive (when he does decide to go to the basket), and he seems to be passing the ball like he is a rookie PG.

I don't think MDA will pull him immediately, but the only way this team will accomplish anything this year is if Duhon gets limited (or none at all) minutes on the floor.

Douglas is tough. He has a different game, but his toughness reminds me of Starks and Oakley. He's a keeper.

The kid is good but he is never going to be a playmaker. He is a scorer and defender. At least he plays hard at both ends. I don't want to see Duhon ever again.

Took this guy scoring points for some of you to notice that he's a good player. I personally have liked him from the beginning. He hustles, he's always around the ball, he defends, he rebounds, he's not afraid to mix it up. And now we are seeing that he also has scoring ability. He will make a lot of mistakes, because that's what rookies do. He also may not be the best player drafted from 23 and beyond. But when you stop coveting others and just look at what he brings, he can obviously be a solid player. From the beginning he did not need D'Antoni to "teach" him to play defense. Or to "emphasize" defense for him to play it. Or to "teach" him to hustle. He just does it. We need more guys like him.
