for real dude, even if at the very least we can fool some team into taking him and giving us a pick and an expiring back.....

Wow--but the bottom line was and is he's a 26 year old guy very capable of getting himself into this shape. If he's true with himself and motivated--he's got another 30-45mm out there for him once this contract is dead. If he stays in this shape and can give 30 minutes he s going to do 15-7-1 close to 60%

WOW, I'm like, so IMPRESSED! He doesn't even have to play a game!!! Now he can retire with dignity, and his jersey has a secure position in the rafters at MSG!!!!

No lie man this is borderline scary how slim this cat looks.....

I'm happy for him but I'm also so freakin pissed and inspired at the same time. This guy has so much potential its ridiculous.

All I wanna see is Eddy Curry recieving a pass off a screen and tearing the rim off the backboard.....but lets not forget the guy is still mentally retarded. Losing weight is one thing....the next thing is for the dude to grasp and succeed as a finisher in this offense.

Completely agree. I wonder if the dude will still be unable to pass the ball from the post.

Very impressive how skinny the dude is though.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

One word, bro....."Screens"

Herb and the staff better go over the proper way to set that screen without moving, cuz Eddy Curry is more than a screen he's a muthafreakin IMAX! Skinny or not he's still huge.

Thinking back to his Bulls days....they used to use him as a battering ram at the rim and there is nobody in the league that can stop him when he is recieving the ball on the move.

He's gotta bring that effort and play hard. He hasn't played hard ever in his Knick life....Isiah force feeding him doesn't count.

Thanks Cosmic. I noticed that so many guys are trying to make jokes that they didn't respond to the video and just how explosive this guy is when he's in shape. I was angry with Curry when he simply couldn't get into shape and kept injurying himself, but he showed me something this time. He clearly worked hard this time, cuz he's a different person physically.

If this guy can find a way to fit in and flow with this offense he's gonna be a major help to this team. We have a gaping hole in the middle and he can step in and make a difference. I'm pulling for him to find success this time. We've got him for 2 years, so why not hope he plays great? I doubt he can convince teams he's over his demons in time to be traded. I think teams are gonna be skeptical this year and next, so we may have to get used to Eddy being here. I could be wrong, but if fans here can't get passed his issues why would a GM?

Dude, you're a piece of work.
Who's not "hoping"? Every Knick fan hopes that every Knick player can be well and contribute.
But I'm not going to "get passed his issues" till he proves he can.
I'm not going to jizz myself every time EC makes a comeback.

Curry might not be motivated to win, but he sure has fought hard for his next contract.

Honestly, if he comes back and can be the force he was before, I don't think I want him traded.

A healthy, productive Eddy, Chris Boshizzle, BronBron/Melo and 3 developed prospects in Gallo, Hill and TD and we'll be the beasts from the East..
We'll be looking at a core which lasts 6-9 years forward and the Knicks having a dynasty.

Can you spell w.i.s.h.f.ul. t.h.i.n.k.i.n.g.?

With this guy's track record I'd be on the phone trying to trade him from the minute he got on the floor.

"See Mark, see? He just won the opening tip and he's still in one piece, now can you trade me Dampier and his expiring deal for him?"
