TMS, why does the guy need 1 last deal? he's made well over $100 million over the course of his career, his goal should be to win a championship, no? instead he signs with the grizzlies and literally game 1 he's already complaining. sad stuff. i honestly wouldn't be surprised if he retired at midseason and had enough.

does it really matter that he made over $100 mil over his career? not every player's main goal is to win a championship... this is their livelihoods as well, not just a game... AI could have easily signed on w/1 of the championship contenders if winning a championship was his main goal right now, but he obviously wasn't ready to accept a backup role at this point in his career... AI still thinks he's got plenty of game & to be honest i happen to agree w/him... personally i don't begrudge any athlete who chooses money over winning championships... i don't think it would be easy to pass up millions just to play for a championship either if i were in the same shoes.

Marbury #2. Problems! Problems! We don't need AI.

i've never seen AI quit on his team or on his coach the way Dinglebury has... i'm not saying i'd actively pursue him in a trade but i think he's easily better than any G we have on this team right now & if we had signed him in the offseason i woulda embraced the guy... i've been a fan of his for a while.

people are bashing AI but I actually watched the 4th qtr and OT of that game and AI has a right to be frustrated. Down the stretch and into overtime AI was on the bench. Dunno if they would've won had he been out there but Conley sure was not the answer (no pun intended). I mean he even put Demarre Carroll in over AI when Zach fouled out in OT and Sac was playing small.

btw
Zach and Gasol have alot of chemistry together and they will be a nightmare matchup for oppossing D's. they put Zach in the high post alot and he feeds Gasol very well. When its not ther Mayo and Gay get alot of room to come off clean when Zach swings it and sets a screen for them. this was the 2nd game of theres I got to see extensively...fun team to watch.

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

Not to change the topic of this thread, but I really though Memphis made a solid move in picking up Zach. He matured alot here and had turned himself into a pretty solid PF. Dude plays hard every game, is a solid rebounder, especially on the offensive end, and he can score in many different ways. He was exactly what Memphis needed. I am glad they had the balls to trade for him. Unfortunately, I think they should have left AI alone unless they planned to feature him over Conley, which apparently they don't.

Agree that AI is better than any Knick guard. But we don't need him here, now. He has a history of creating problems. He has great stats but he doesn't play on winning teams.

must've been some other AI winning games and making the play-offs multiple times in Philly an Denver.

with the kind of firepower they have on that team AI would wreack the kind of havoc in the paint Conley seems incapable of doing.
