GKF was real chill this summer, when Long Island hos were licking his pecker

Still got a bit mad from time to time but he was starting to mellow--bringing passion without hate. I don't know, I wish him the best, because he's goin to do more than fine when it all falls into place

And that players should be required to go to college in order to pursue a pro basketball whether they want to, or have the academic skills to attend college or not?

If you do believe that, does your belief extend to Golf, Tennis, Baseball, Hockey, etc.?

oohah

oohah, i didn't answer your question with my previous post.

Let me start with a question: On average, how many hours a week does a student athlete on a DIV I basketball team practice?

To my knowledge anywhere from 10 - 20 hours per week, but I could be wrong.

To my understanding, the average Euro-kid professional practices much more than the average NCAA kid.

oohah

great. What's the average pay for baseball minor league, hockey minor league, euro teen contract? ball park guess. be a tad generous.

is oohah your google assistant? seriously its rude to keep telling someone to go fish. oohah has a valid point. you are just reinforcing it by your avoidance.

coolbeans, I'll post this once for you. oohah and I are having a discussion, and it does take some back and forth, and I'll get to my point very soon.

You are adding nothing to the discussion and are otherwise pretty annoying. Stop interjecting and move on.

i will post this once for you, ban my account if you feel frosty about it, its your board.

an unwise statement for certain

Oh please. It's not meant to offend it's simply the truth I have found. People of Greek heritage are passionate people and it leads to heated confrontations as a result. They're simply intense people with enormous pride but it can lead to heated debates that turn for the worse at times. It's no big deal to me but that is a truth. I happen to be Italian and I find the same thing occurs with Italians in terms of intense personalities butting heads.

It is what it is. If you're offended I'm sorry but I can't see how that's an offensive statement.

Greek is a very intense person and it leads to arguments. It's pretty simple stuff.

The described attitude has little to do with nationality and much to do with the temperment of a nationalist. And I find the only simple stuff here is your holier-than-thou attitude

not gonna debate this with you - you are wrong. you wanna talk about person being heated, fine, you wanna talk about person letting their passion get the best of them, fine. but not whole race of people. i believe that is the definition of stereotype cosmic and you just showed it to be true.

a simple, my bad would have sufficed, rather you go down the defensive route. and, you begin with oh please, like its your opinion that is right here? come across like a mature adult, not some defensive child. if you knew greek people at all, and not some subset that you may call friends, you would know that statement to not be true. learn about the people before you go spouting dumb statemets cosmic.

Dunno about his self-control issues, but I think he posted some intelligent insights. Hope to find out why he got banned. Seems a bit tough, but Martin is pretty good at this moderation thing, so I bet he had his reasons. Still, gonna miss his (non-flaming) posts. He put some effort into them.

4 years older and 4 years slower!

Are you making it to the pub this Friday night? I propose a 50 yard dash right outside the bar. Loser buys a pint and a basket of wings. Maybe the bonus round is you have to arm wrestle me (left handed )

I'm a city boy. I don't know what 50 yards is. 1 city block.
I'll arm wrestle, but not left handed.
We'll have ourselves a UK Special Olympics.

Eh, I'm not looking for a debate, argument, or fight. It's an observation I made and I will stick to it. I think this world has gotten so PC it's pathetic. Each race has it's good and bad people but each race also has definitive traits. That is just how it is just as cats and dogs have their traits. To suggest all men are equal, the same, etc - to me is just PC bullcrap.

If we're so equal let us just chuck out all our heritages, prides, etc, and photoshop every photo we own GREY.

Well, that's not reality and that is not nature.

By nature certain races have certain traits. It is JUST HOW IT IS.

To dismiss this is to dismiss yourself and your roots.

There is nothing racial/racist/derogatory inferred here. Those who think that is what I am doing are super sensitive and caught up in PC garbage.

If anything, if anyone reading this is objective, they would see that despite being unhappy with GKF I am actually defending him in some capacity.

But, I guess, I'll let the close minded "every one is equal and to say otherwise is racist and ill advised cause you'll hurt people's feelings!" crow have their way and I will bow out of this.

Not a great way to live anyone's life though...this PC garbage that is. We're all very different but those with common heritages do display like traits. Again, to ignore this, is to ignore one's self.

I refuse to live like that and I don't care who gets offended by such because to me there is nothing to be offended by.

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.
