All jokes aside...this is just the start. The internet is crazy. I for a fact I spend a **** load of time on the internet and barely even watch TV or read newspapers. Everything I read and listen to is off the internet nowadays....I'm sure there are tons of mofo's like me...thats bad for businesses out there. So they gotta compensate. Aint but so much you can do with advertisements and pop ups on a site.
But....
$260 per year does sound a bit excessive. $5 a week is more than you would pay for home delivery. No Bueno...in other words...Newsday management are a bunch of retards. What happened to maybe a $1 a week? $5 a month maybe as a trial run to see how people react...nooooooo $5 a week/$260 a year for a paper nobody cares about except Islander fans.

This really is a big deal and I doubt this lasts very long. I think the Knicks articles and blogs are better than most, but there is no content that sets it apart enough for a majority of the people to spend $20 a month on. Sorry to see it go.

My man love affair with Alan Hahn has come to an end
Are you gonna call his wife and tell her?
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
