Channing Frye was what he was a good shooting big guy who would have been a great compliment to David Lee.

Channing is a jumpshooting center. As a Knick, he was playing power forward. He got hurt and was a throw away in Portland. Now he's finally playing center in an uptempo offense with a dominant post presence in amare. Not to mention Steve freaking. Nash He's where he should be. He's essentially playing the role Kurt Thomas did for them as he should have for the Knicks. He's still a Pansy.

Frye has looked good this preseason and he would have fit D's offense nicely at the 5. Playing with a real point guard will do wonders for his game.

Channing Frye can shoot, big deal. He does nothing else well. So he scored 29, why aren't you mentioning that he also managed to grab a whopping 3 rebounds that same game in 35 minutes of action.

4.4 rebounds and .6 blocks in 7 preseason games.

i agree about Carmelo's bytchassness that day, but the look on Frye's face was pathetic... look like he just got bytchslapped by his pimp for shortchanging him on the daily take.
