NJIT?
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

The rock is a nice arena and should be the Nets home. I'm looking forward to seeing the game next wednesday there. How are the $10 seats DrAlphaeus?

Nosebleeds are nosebleeds... you are pretty high up there but the seats are relatively comfortable if you are under 6'3" I'll probably try to get a 20-25 dollar seat if I go to the Knicks game.

As for NJ not being able to support a team: it's the 11th most populous state and the densest. If Oklahoma City can, why can Jersey? Mass transit within NJ used to be really hard but now with the Secaucus Junction and the light rail projects that's gotten a lot better.

Sure the Meadowlands draws for football but we're talking 17 games. And while it's convenient to Bergen, Passaic & Hudson counties, NJ's center is really more Union, Essex & Middlesex. Newark is better positioned to serve the huge mass of population there.

Thanks, I got $10 tix for the Knicks game but they are are in section 229, which is around half-court. I figured I'd save the $15-$20 bucks I would have spent on better tix on beer considering its pre season and the Knicks have yet to show me they are worth my money with their play thus far. I work in Newark and can literally walk to the arena, so I figured i'd check them out on the cheap.
