Mike only knows baseball. He knows nothing about football or basketball.

Russo only knows about baseball and tennis.

Anyone know how they met?

I'm thinking they met on a celebrity diet group or gamblers anonymous or something similarly embarrassing.

I can't believe Francessa still has the afternoon drive time show. I like just about everyone else on the Fan better. As some have said, he knows nothing about b-ball and does not take the time to even sound intelligent when he talks about it. He should just say its not my sport and I don't follow it in my opinion. He is very condescending, thinks he knows it all and in fact is often quite ignorant and close minded when it comes to most topics.

I agree with fishmike completely, and with others who have correctly pointed out that Mike F. loves to talk down to players and coaches alike. He loves his own voice so much that he has to repeat everything he says like three times...it's like a tick or some ocd thing. We heard you the first time, your point isn't so nuanced or complicated that it bears repeating three times!

Where the hell is Max Kellerman?? He was the only guy on sports radio who I found remotely interesting or intelligent.

Also, side note, pls sports talk guys, don't talk about anything but sports, or try to be funny. It's totally embarrassing and cringeworthy. Thank you.

There were alot of rumors that Mike was trying to bring Max in to be his side-kick. Not sure why it fell through.
