The team has been rebuilding for certain since last year and as such the only thing we hoped for was at best to try and make a push for the playoffs. We all know the team isn't great and not me or anyone else has suggested they were. Yeah every year many of us look for the team to grab obe of tts last playoff spots, but is that asking too much given the talent we've had?

My yearly predictions were on the high side but not far off from what many, even analysts, expected of the teams we had. I think the team had underachieved under Zeke, but last year was a different case IMO. For the sake of the future the team sent away talent that may have allowed them to make the playoffs so we could try to build a title contender. Don't mix the Zeke yrs with this current management team.

Donnie Walsh said he was going to do something and he is still in the process of doing it, just as he layed out.

you can discuss the merits of his plan, sure, but as far as the situation right now, we're sticking to the plan and that's a HELLUVA lot more than we had for the 7+ years preceding Donnie Walsh. So root for your team.

I dont love this team because they suck... how about that?

I cant root for another NBA team... I just cant. I watch a lot of NBA and CBB games because the kids that run my gym love hoops and its on all TVs which is great. That being said if the Knicks stink I just dont care.

I just happen to be a betting man and if you gave me $1000 to pick the win total it would be 32. We won last year because Crawford and Zach were very good early and helped us win games.

I think we can dup that this year because we will be better at home and should win some more of these close games.

But what you see is what you get. When you watched EITHER of the preseason games did you see a group of players with something to prove? Did you see a group of players that looked hungry? (Curry aside)

And again I don't expect much tonight from our Knicks. Why? Well, PROs will tell you that playing every other night is ideal. That playing back to back is too much and playing with 2 or 3 nights rest causes them to lose their rhythm. We're working on what our third game in 10 days or whatever it is? PATHETIC SCHEDULING!!! Sunday - Friday - Tuesday. Eh, not good at all for them to get going.
