NBATV is pretty good quality for non HD.

League ass pass is a compressed signal and looks awful in standard Def!

All 4 my TV's are high def and Im spoiled now!

Getting it on cable sucks even worse cause they never show the post game. As soon as the game is over the channel blacks out, with dtv, they at least give you 15/20 mins of post game action.. MSG is a local channel down here, but the game was blacked out, so was the rewind..

NFL ticket is the absolute best I must say, along with super fan and the Red Zone Channel.

yup, that is the problem with cable. game over. coverage over.. LOL... directTV lets the local affiliate continue broadcsting, but for the price of direct TV, their crappy customer service, and service loss during storms, rain and heavy clouds.. it just is not worth it..

that sounds terrible.

I remember having to take my wife out to dinner and missing the knicks game. I set the Dvr to tape it and it rained while we were gone.. missed the whole knick game.. I was done with direct tv!!

I must be in a strong frequency area cause that has rearly happen to me down here.when, I was in NY it happen on a regular, but I would just call up bitch and complain and they would almost always give me a month or two of free service.

Like those drug commercials give you 30 seconds of info on the side effects. well DTV should mention the possibilities of weather related interference when there advertising, but they don't and for good reason(sales would plummet) and because of that there force to compensate you in some form of service.
They could never tell weather your service has been interrupted for 1 min or 6 hrs.

so DTV is dead, it seems, how do they get any customers at all?

Since Directv preveiws the 1st three weeks of the NHL, it's not able to show the MLB Ticket, The NFL Ticket, and the NBA League pass all at once..Now that the NHL Free preseason preview is done and the MLB season is over, NBA League pass goes into effect as of today.....

I heard a lot about people complaining that things go wrong during rain storms and such, with direct TV. Amd with Verizon Fios, I've heard nothing but how the service is awful and how they just switch back to cable.

That's pretty much why I have cable.

PRETTY MUCH bro. But the trick is to keep switching between cable and verizon so you can keep getting the 'new customer' deals.

it looks like they upgraded league pass online:

http://www.nba.com/leaguepass/online.html

it's $134.95 for the season or $90 to watch 7 teams...

you can see a demo here:

http://www.nba.com/leaguepass/demo/index.html

it's broadcasting in HD...i'm intrigued by this...

For some reason now they are showing the preseason games. Great!
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

WOW. do you choose the 7 teams??? if so, i would choose the knicks, the spurs, the nuggets, the lakers, the wolves, and the mavs, and the blazers.

there is the option online to only pay $90 for 7 teams.

if you're in ny, you don't pick the knicks or nets b/c they are on tv and blacked out with league pass broadband.

what would your 7 teams look like?

i would of course pick toronto, but the next 6? i have no clue.

you figure cavs, magic, boston and lakers will be on regular tv alot so you won't need it for at least 20% of their games.

Damn, I thought Toronto was the leader. Are they in a different division?

even toronto cant comepete with the likes of the sjax, curry, monte soap opera. you cant script anything better....tooo bad jamal aint there anymore.

toronto is actually a pretty harmonious bunch...i heard bargnani even hosts one of those internationl day events where each person brings a dish from their homeland to the party.

my god, can you just imagine...
