Nice work evil as usual. I think you should put some of your music on imeem.com. That way you can increase your fan base.

word. i peeped the site but couldn't exactly figure out how to get on there. i'll dig around some more. def gonna need to do a promotional blitz once the new album comes out (early 2010). thanks for the tip and for checkin the vid.

I will also forward it around. As far as imeem.com, just turn any song you make into a mp3 format and upload it on their site. Then make a track list. Also anytime you do a video or show remind fans that your album will be out soon. You can also make a little banner on your set so people will remember the name.

Soundclick.com is a another good website you could use to increase your fan base. You can put some of your music on there for fans to listen to plus they have a message board. Once you have done that you can tell fans where they can listen to more of your message.

BigC is more or less a Web 2.0 (or is it now 3.0?) expert now so I'd listen to whatever he says.

I would recommend getting those sites listed on as many directories as possible as Google rankings work based upon how many sites link to that site. (which is why I cannot stand it when you people link to a Newsday article through the RealGM wiretap... you are making that site more popular because you are too lazy to link to the Newsday article)

Read this article for a quick Web 2.0 primer. Really a must read if you are trying to build a web following

Just remember youngins the next time you pull up to a red light and look at the 50-60ish old couple sitting next to you in their Buick grew up in the 70s listening to groups like Zep,Stones etc... So maybe they just lit a joint and are listening to Def Lep on their radio and hoping the cops dont stop them!! I do!!

Where's the t-shirts?

being rocked by many awesome fans. def gone through a ton of them. not really keeping good inventory.

how's the new business coming along?

Not bad, I'm actually working on a SuperBowl project and Bloomingdale's bought a couple of t-shirts I designed. Not making the big bucks yet though.

Let me know what you think of my new site http://www.brandaidmktg.com

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

hahahaha!! we will be on the lookout. we've added some zep, black sabbath, pink floyd into the arsenal for shows where we have to play more than an hour and a half.

thanks for the thoughtful ratings. seems very scientific.

thanks SC, Big C, everyone that's checked us out (love it or hate it or somewhere in between -- just trying to get exposure anywhere and everywhere). thank you.

i'm gonna read that article you suggested. gotta be ready to blow it up web 2.0 status and engage beast mode all over the music industry when the album drops.

Yes it was done very scientific based on the tune played with the background effects and the foreground effect ( mainly the fox you got up front) You would have got higher ratings if the spot lite showed the girl more!! Woulda got you at least 2 more points!! Now we know that there are others that would look and you and the drummer(eny, gfk etc ) but i wont go there right now.LOLOL im so funny

I'll offer some thoughts. I do web site building, not website design, so that's part of my slant. Don't really build marketing sites, they are an animal on to their own.

With today's browsers, you probably don't need the first page "Enter Site". My guess is that at least 90% of browsers support flash and you may even be able to detect which don't and automatically forward them to a different message, otherwise send them right in.

Why open a new browser window when entering your site? Seems unnecessary and I know it can be distracting/annoying to users.

I see there is an email icon and another one next to it... don't know what the second icon does.

Seems long to load.

Otherwise, not too bad.
