Earl:
You just suggested that it's okay for him to chuck a brick from three because a nice drive might be coming.
You just suggested it's okay that he might chuck a bad pass into the leg of a defender or step on the sideline because he might have a nice TO stat.
You're suggesting it's okay that he frequently receives and holds the ball and ends up confused as to what to do with it or who to pass it to because there might be a nice dunk on the way at some point.
Simply put he is not an all-star or super-star to be as some make him out to be. He is a complimentary role player who can put up some good games (like ATL) and some really horrid games where he's got 3-4 TOs and gone 1-4 from 3PT range.
His .271 from 3pt range, something he likes to attempt too frequently even when the ability to drive to the hoop or drive and pull up from within his known shooting range is available, is atrocious, and poor decision making.
Earl - there is no agenda on this end - I call it how I see it. The agenda is yours propping up an average player as a superstar and then telling those who disagree that they have no basketball knowledge.
