why ya'll hate this dude so much?
Nate wanted to be a knick because nobody offered him a contract execpt for the Greek team. Nate should not live overseas.
As far as his radio show, the question is for me: "is he really that interesting?"
Nate is a great athlete who does amazing things. Winning has not been in his mix, but thats not all on him.
As far as radio, what does Nate really have to say thats interesting or even funny?
I hope the guy does well and turns into a star but I only care about him as a basketball player, not the clown like ways he carries himself.
I think IM pretty ass middle ground on this one.
But lets be real, I think Nate's on court antics are pretty minor and would be well tolerated if we were a much better team.
Seb, I think the hate stems from the thought that losing teams can't be much fun and Nate does things that only winning teams should tolerate. Certain celebrating at inappropriate times means he does not understand the moment.
I Think Nate is not a favorite of the coach but he is entertaining as hell to watch play. I enjoy his game but not his on court personality. I saw a game last year in Charlotte and watching a playoer off the ball, and/or off the camera you can see the guy just does not pay attention and coaches get frustrated at him.
If we evolve to any kind of contender status his this is not the kid of guy you want at crunch time. Or he needs to be on a team that has its leadership structure in place and they police him.
He is a perfect Globetrotter! I mean that as a compliment!
