remove the ham and the steak and i might eat it.

what are you, a herbivore?

I'm a vegetarian (not a vegan) and I probably wouldn't eat it even with the ham and steak excluded.

I could feel the arteries around my heart twitch when I read the ingredients.

So two chili peppers constituted the vegetable component of this "meal?" So much for the food pyramid.

PS- Sounds like a "snack" that Eddie Curry might make before going to bed.

I said "might"

Rather see 4 egg whites and 1 slice of cheese with mushrooms, onions, and other assorted veggies.

I'm going on 12 years almost of no meat in my diet. Don't miss it whatsoever.

Yeah, that passed through my mind, too, but this is a "family website," so I didn't bring it up.

No fish either? Do you eat a lot of dairy and nuts and beans and pasta instead?

I'd call it heaven

I'd add bacon (not replace the ham with like Bocker suggested), top it off with chili, and switch the cheese to shredded cheddar... and may I suggest Tator Tots instead of English Muffin? I'd probably drench it in hot sauce or add plenty of jalapenos on top of the chili peppers.

Anyway, everyone knows I'm a bit of a healthnut but damnit do I love to eat garbage every now and again I'd much rather eat that than a Chipotle burrito or a Big Mac combo meal with some McNuggets or whatever. What Cos made is comparable to those food products

Bah!

2 slices of pumperknickel...pile high with warm corned beef... add fried overhard egg ..slice a dill pickle and spread in a thin layer...cover bread with a layer of mayo on each side and add a dollop of spicy brown mustard spread thinly. Slice corner to corner and eat like a club. Good with a glass of OJ and a cuppa

No fish. I get protein from dairy and soy products 3-5 meals a day.

Breakfast: Egg+Cheese (Egg-whites, on a flatbread or a croissant)
Lunch: Pizza usually (2 slices with veggies)
Dinner: Veggieburgers (2 patties, no mayo) Or sometimes I'll have a hotpocket instead.

For snacks i might eat polly-o string cheese, or a package of salted nuts, or drink a bottle of ensure.

My cholesterol is 160. By eating every 3-4 hours, having lighter dinners, making usre i eat breakfast and limiting my carb intake the closer i get to bedtime, i've dropped 20lbs in 12 weeks with this diet.

listen this is all very interesting but more importantly if these miserable moderators are going to outlaw send closk in the next format as is rumored, then we better take advantage of every opportunity till then.

i had some vanilla yogurts and a couple of grapefruits for breakfast today because i intend to pig our at lunch. what has everyone else on the board had for breakfast and what does everyone intend to have for lunch?

Great idea about the send closk.

For breakfast I had some frosted mini wheats and for lunch i had a slimfast shake, since I'm trying to stick to 1400 calories a day so I can lose some weight.

Anyone else mind adding to the closk?

nice job kam. good for you with the weight loss. 20 lbs in 12 weeks is no joke. keep it up.

I work 4 to 9 today, so it's going to be tough for the rest of the day. However, if I can really limit the amount I eat for the rest of the day, then the way I ate was fantastic...

Breakfast: Banana and a weight watchers yogurt. Glass of 50% less sugar OJ. Not sure if that's better, but it can't be that bad.

Lunch: Turkey Sandwich on wheat bread with mustard. Someone on this board said you should stay away from mustard. That can't be further from the truth. Mustard is quite fine for you. I had no cheese on it. I had a can of diet Dr. Pepper and that's the only soda I'll have for the day.

Late lunch early dinner. 2 Boca burgers, mustard, no cheese or bread.

After work, I'll be going to the gym, which will make me starving, so I will probably have something small.

I had like 3 or 4 bottles of water also and there will be more water intake to come.

In between it all, I also had 1 small spoonful of reduced fat peanut butter. Shouldn't hurt that much.
