Hey, I'm just happy that he brought his sneakers this time. That's progress.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

So... given that few players are in game shape at the start of camp, does the practice of pushing players to their limits on day 1 make a whole lot of sense? Look what we got now - as a result of pushing too hard, he's going to be set back by about a week.

Guys coming off injury... you've gotta slowly get them them up to speed.

Curry isn't coming off injury, he's coming off a life-long lazy streak that he can't seem to get over. How long must a coach and team wait to 'push too hard'. Should we have given him a contract extension, just to make sure he had the opportunity to achieve his potential in NY? Is that what we should do?
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Curry hurt himself because he is fat.

Forget marketing the team to Italians and Chinese...

Imagine the concession dollars that would be spent if MSG held a "fat people night?"

This guy cannot do anything real. Even his ingury is a joke...

The injury, however, is not considered a serious one because the plantaris muscle, which is located along the calf and behind the Achilles, is considered to be a vestigial part of the human body, akin to the appendix.
Eddy is just giant appendix of Knick organization which shoud be removed ASAP.

Cool. It's the guy from the Cyclone in Coney Island! (At one point I took a very similar photo)

according to the journalist fatty the player fatty is out for the rest of camp
Curry out for rest of training camp
SARATOGA SPRINGS - Camp Saratoga is over for Knicks embattled center Eddy Curry

An MRI taken today diagnosed Curry with a torn right plantaris muscle in his calf that forced him back to New York to have a blood-drainage procedure tomorrow, according to a Knicks spokesman.

Curry plans to return to Saratoga tomorrow night, but will have to sit out three to five days of practice, meaning he will miss the rest of training camp for the second straight year and the Knicks' preseason opener Sunday in Albany vs. the Nets.

The plantaris muscle is a vestigial muscle, which is not used any longer and many people do not possess it. The injury is normally associated with tennis. Last camp, Curry missed the entire week, in a Saratoga hospital bedridden by a bacterial infection. Missing camp was mostly blamed for his lost season in which he played three games.

Curry injured his calf during the first scrimmage Tuesday night, battling for a rebound. This setback will likely put him behind the 8-ball in his longshot comeback attempt.

Like I said, Curry can be traded this summer when he's an expiring deal. Expiring deals are still valuable, especially in this economy. Somebody will take him to rid of a good player. This means we could have another piece to attract a free agent here if we successfully trade him and Jeffries this summer.

At this point, Curry is stuck here for the rest of this season and I don't really care if he plays or not.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Word is that fat boy is done already with camp? Good god....

Tore some muscle going all the way down his leg?

Whatever...I'm really done with this piece of garbage. He will not play for Mike D. He just won't. He cost us that Dallas game last year and Mike admitted it and to me that shows that Mike will not play him.

He'll get traded next summer I suppose. Or waived/bought out. Given that it would be 1 year remaining.

What gets me is that his contract is now fully guaranteed. I believe the first three years were literally team options each year. If the heart acted up he could be cut right then and there. He made it through those three years and everything since is now guaranteed. Isiah gave him 2 consecutive player options (this coming year and the final year) so if things went bad he and his boyfriend Crawful could opt out together.

So tired of this fat slob. I don't care that he has mental problems. He's not a family member or friend or neighbor. He's a big fat waste of space making millions of dollars and somehow so ****ing broke that his house is foreclosed!

Fuck you Eddy Curry FUCK YOU.
