It's funny how the cap goes from a projected $65 million next year to $50 million in the first time in 14 years that we have cap space. I think Stern secretly hates NY or it is just the Ewing curse.

Actually, a healthy franchise in NYC is always a good thing for any league.

That kind of fits into the Knicks luck, doesn't it? That this would occur when they're getting ready to try and make a splash in free agency. Of course the recession is bigger than the Knicks but indeed the Knicks get the short end of the stick yet again.

The world isn't going to end in 2012 because God is going to be so happy that LeBron signs with the Knicks that he will keep the world going for a few more years so He can watch the games.
