Felton is a decent pg who was drafted too early. Signing him to a one year contract couldn't hurt.

how is a pg that's averaged basically 14/7 since he's been in the league a bust or on his way to being a bust?

Because Firefly said so

a really really good player. Not Paul or DWill but damn good and I bet would be simply awesome running the floor in this offense. A far superior athlete to Session and Duhon, thats for sure.

This is a guy I would be comfortable offering a full MLE contract too. He's lottery talent and has elite quickness and speed.

Seriously tho, I would consider Felton almost a bust because he has been given every opportunity to prove he was worth picking before DW and he has never stepped up to the plate. He plays with a passing sf in Wallace, a prety good passing F in OK4, their offense should be dynamic. Instead, he plays SG because obviously his coach doesnt think he can handle the responsibility of being the PG.

So yeah, 13.6/6.7 is nice, but this guy got picked ahead of some VERY good player based on athletic ability and percieved floor-generalness. He has not added to his game or tapped his huge potential to become better.

Let me ask you this. Do you think Felton will get better then 14/7? I dont. If you do, Id like to know what makes you think so. And if you dont either, then being picked at 5 ahead of Deron Williams entitles me to say you are almost a bust for the potential you showed when you were younger.

No interested really. Nate is as good or better IMO. Felton is a solid PG, but he is a borderline starter. He would be an upgrade over duhon (but then again who wouldn't be), but I would rather pay Nate.

Felton has not played with very good players. I think he's produced pretty well considering the teams hes been on.

I think someone like MDA would help him rely less on being the quickest guy on the court and make him a better BB player. I think Felton has the talent to make that happen.

Cha also plays a mostly half court offense.

Knicks may not have great player but we have some guys that can finish and knock down shots in the uptempo game.

I think Felton is really good, imo. I think he is better than Duhon as Felton is a proven starter in this league (either at the 1 or 2) and Duhon is definitely solidifying his status as a career backup.

I would definitely look at Felton (I think he is worth about the MLE, for sure). Especially if you could work out some type of trade to get him(JJ2? Curry for Felton and Raja Bell?)

good luck with that trade
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

felton is good and can really benefit with another few years under brown. but, agree the bobcats are playing around with him. they should sign him and develop him and dj augustine like the raps did with tj ford and calderon a few years back.

Williams was picked 3rd, Felton was picked 5th

True. The only players picked later who are significantly better are Bynum and Granger. It's hard to believe that Granger fell to 17.

Most 1st rounders never make it in the league period. Joe Forte was a bust. Felton just happens to be a lottery pick that didn't become a star. Nothing wrong with that.
Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please
