4 yr 16mm--we couldnt afford that--someone show me why not? We dropped the ball--absolute F blunder. Fck buying tickets. If they dont want to win Im not buying tickets--they wont have tow worry about 90 tickets going for 20 bucks because they will have boatloads of them. A lot of fans are going to be prised off. It's one thing if he signed for 5 years 35mm but that was not even close to being the case.

I wouldnt assume David Lee will ever sign back with the Knicks after this year and it's very possible with 16 teams under the cap that he will get superior offers. 4mm $ is not enough money to let a player like Sessions to go *hoping* that you're best case scenario even comes close. And if we look at it the other way--the way where Lebron doesnt come here and we lose guys like Lee Harrington darko[if he plays well] on day 1 of fA with all of that money out there--you are left holding a big bag of sht. Acquiring Sessions was a smart hedge

you're left holding cap room for 2011 and you have a very good shot at getting the top pick in the 2011 draft. it wouldn't be fun, but it wouldn't be the end of the world.

sessions is not demonstrably better than duhon or nate - he might grow into a better player, but it's certainly not enough of a difference to risk a chance at Lebron James or even a plan B guy like Amare.

sessions is not flawless, man. he's got no jumper. sure, d'antoni liked him but d'antoni also begged the suns to throw $20 M at Marcus Banks after he was in a very similar situation to Sessions

Martin--show me the difference in cap flexibility if we signed Sessions to a 4 year 16mm contract--show me how the math makes sense for us--we wouldve had a max contract spot open whether we signed him or not. In fact we may lose the opportunity to use the MLE next year because we didnt sign Sessions.
