Garcia sounds just like the little snake Isiah does.

Isiah said it was not agreement but is now saying he does not want to do it. Thats BS!

Garcia is defending his coach.

Phuck Isiah. After his Sexual harrassment charge he should not be given a nice job like that at FIU. That University is a starphuchiung little shoythouse trying to make a name so they hire that scumbag Isiah.

This guy is working on the cheap to rebuild his name. Thats ok, but university bought a guy with that kind of history is really not what a college should be doing. Some protested his hiring and they were right to do so.

Phuch Isiah and it pimp Garcia! I hope they fail bigtime for years to come! Just so long as nobody else gets hurt.

I actually understand why FIU is making this decision but........Personally if I was the Coaches for Cancer people I would just let them pull out and let some team that is happy to be there play.
I just hope that people will like me

I get that FIU has a higher profile now that Isiah is there...what I dont get is the obvious anti-Zeke agenda, when its completely unwarranted in this case.

The way the UK guys are jumping all over it, they are coming across as jilted ex's or something.

Sebstar, I don't wish anybody ill will, but you do realize that we're all die hard Knick fans, correct? And you do realize that Isiah made an embarrassment of our beloved Knicks, right?

There's going to be some hostility towards the man. He made his own bed.

Personally, I don't wish him success or failure. I don't like him, but not enough to wish him failure. He's not making a fool of the Knicks anymore, so whatever he does, I could care less. I DO NOT feel sorry for him for any of the negative press he recieves though. He earned it all.

I'm not trying to throw a ticker tape parade for him anytime soon.

But to see people twist a story around just so they can have the excuse to pop shyt about Isiah and vilify him is a kinda weak.

Maybe, but it's bound to happen. He IS a villain in the eyes of us remember.

Like I said, he made his own bed and deserves everything that comes to him now. He should feel so lucky he has his money AND a coaching job, not to mention the support of his "Family" whomever that may be. And nobody thought he'd ever get a job again.

It may be weak, but why do you care? It's Isiah Thomas.

I feel you, but if people are going to position Zeke as not caring about a tournament to raise money and awareness for cancer, when thats not even true --- then reality has to find its way back into the convo.

Seb,

Isiah is a piece of Shoyt. We know the list: CBA, Anucha, knick tenure, won't recognize his son born out of wedlock, and throwing his daughter under the bus.

This guy has a history of getting what he wants and hurting those around him to get it.

Thats why some really can't stand the guy. He needs to get out of the limelight before we all puke. Im sick of the dude.

Guy won't recognize his own son? Say your daughter tried to kill herself when it was you who either tried or took an accidental over dose? Most fathers would take a bullet for their kids to protect them. THe business thing was pretty bad itself, but he hurt the CBA owners bad by being greedy.

Thats whey we see a twist and pop off on Isiah.

What makes Isiah above reproach? Is it his charm? Smile? His smooth manner? His business acumen? His strong character?

You're going to have to give me more about Isiah's out of wedlock son...I googled it and didnt find much about it. I do remember that infamous article about NBA out of wedlock births mentioning that Larry Bird didnt have a relationship with his out of wedlock son tho.

I dont think Zeke sexually harassed that pit bull in a skirt. Not at all. She was a smart opportunist.

As far as his Knick run. Certainly a very mixed bag that is heavily weighted towards the negative. I see what he was trying to do, but his run was sandbagged by one of the worst trades in history {Eddy Curry}...I have a hard time conjuring up very negative emotions about him for it, tho.

Dont care about the CBA and neither should you.

He was wrong about that daughter situation...it was a weird story.

Did you really pull out the larry bird card? Seriously, Larry Bird? Why you use larry bird?
Anyone even mention Larry bird? What does Larry Bird have to do with Isiah? What does Isiah have to do with Larry bird? What do they have in common?

Did larry bird buy a basketball league and leave it to bancruptcy for its owners? Nope. Isiah did. I know those teams reside in the midwest, maybe you don't care about the midwest. Is that it? Why don't you care about the midwest? It speaks to the mans character. Thats why I care. Where is Larry Bird from?

Larry Bird get on the witness stand and say stupid low character things about about who is more offensive calling a black women a bitch and who can't? Not Larry Bird. Isiah did! Did Larry Bird get be found liable in a court of law for Sextual harrassment? Maybe Sebby don't think he did it, but a court of law does. Jury came back and did not mutter a thing about Larry Bird. They mutter Isiah Thomas!

Did Larry Bird fire Isiah Thomas? Yep. Did Larry do Isiah wrong? Yep.

Did Larry Bird coach his team to the finals? Yep. Did Larry Bird have the worst team in profession sports while its president? Nope. Did Larry Bird trade for Marbury, curry, and ignorant signings? Did larry birds team win 23 games? Fire 5 coaches in 4 years? Know why? WE not talking about Larry Bird? WE talking about Isiah.

Did Larry Bird get married in College? Yep. Did he have a child WHILE MARRIED? Yep. Was Larry Bird a professional basketball player when he was married to that women. Nope. Was he a piece of Shoyt for not being generous? Yep.
Did Larry bird impregnate a women while engaged to be married to another women? Nope, Isiah did.

Larry Bird! Man, Sebby why you go and do such a thing?

Damn, looks like I touched a nerve bringing up Larry Bird. I swear I'll never hold Bird to the same standard you hold Isiah so you wont get so upset!

But yeah, thats wrong of Zeke. At least he provides financially for the kid and he is able to live a healthy and prosperous life. As far as why he doesnt have a relationship with him...I dont know, but at least he provides. That would be extra foul if he didnt.

Again, I think a lot of the Anucha case is fabricated. I cant see how Zeke would sexually harass somebody that is that overwhelmingly unattractive. I think she saw how polarizing Zeke is in this city and took a stab at being rich ---- good decision, I guess.

You have a hard time having a negative opinion about a guy who turned the Knicks into a laughingstock. Nice.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I wouldnt make up the fact that Layden is against research and awareness for cancer out of thin air either....that make you happy?

how anyone can seriusly call IT's time here a 'mixed bag' is beyond me. he was a trainwreck since day 1. and you 'saw what he was trying to do'?? no you didn't-- because even ISIAH didn't know what he was trying to do, so...

he was trying to make the Knicks younger and more athletic. He was also trying to make the Knicks relevant after years of being irrelevant under Layden.

Well he did make us relevant --- for all the wrong reasons.

He drafted well, tho. At least we have some assets to show for his years here. Unlike Layden, who gave us nothing.

All you have to do is mention something about Isaiah on this blog and people go crazy. This news has little to do about nothing. The man is gone and he was one of the best point guards to play the game and that you can't take away from him. He messed up in New York and got fired just like other GMs and coaches. He has an oportunity to redeem himself everywhere but New York. I wish him well, I also wish Michael Vick well and hope that he asked God for forgiveness and go out on speaking tours talking about being cruel to animals is wrong and a crime.
