KT should have been shipped out before the season even started. The chump thinks he is a starter, wake up and smell the coffee. The time he has been a starter he as been a loser. I don't know how fans can go on thinking this guy is good or somethink great basketball player. He is a role player that got tossed to the starting lineup like Chaney became the coach by default. KT made himself clear and his agent is doing all the talking now. The true colour shining through. I'm actually happy at the tought of moving KT because you have got to weed out the loser on the team. I always believed he was the cause of the losing on the KNicks regardless of his number. Yes it was admirable for him to play out of position but then role player have to do that if they want to be in the starting lineup.

People point to his statistic and I say that those statistic are stats of a player getting PT nothing more or less. If Spoon got those minutes he would put up the same numbers. If Othella started he would put up the same numbers. Now we see Dice who is putting up the same numbers in just his 6th game back. everyone points to his double double but I remember when Spoon was on the Cavs and getting minutes he did the samething he averaged 10 point and 10 rebounds. Isn't that what KT is doing now.

The fast the Knicks rid themselves of KT the better off they will be. The need to get the ball moving and it starts with KT who has the most value right now. Now is the time to get that PG and SG.

Look at the trade the Celtics made getting Ricky Davis. He has a history of being a head case, but to me talent wins out. You need to take chances on some players in the NBA if a team wants to make it. The Knicks management are so judgmental that they won't trade for anyone unless they are a so called "team player" meaning a corporate kiss-ass. That is why this team is so hard to root for sometimes because of the A** H**** that run this franchise.

theres no way i would want a selfish player like ricky davis in NY. he missed a shot on purpose just so he could get an extra rebound!

Kt is better then most of the folks on this board think. If anyone would average what KT does with starting minutes how come only 14 actually averge more rebounds and of those 11 average more minutes. Kt ain't great but he's a good rebounder a better then average defensive player and posseses a decent mid-range jump shot.

He is also one of our only trade-albe players - so we better get value if se do trade him.

Sweeney - may one day be as good as KT is now - but my bet is if it does happen it's years away. Lampje - won't contribute a thing for years with or without playing time. He played in a league that wasn't even college level last year and didn't contribute there. He has potential but he ain't ready for the NBA.

KT is a hustler at times, but then other days he's lazy and doesn't move his feet on defense. He makes cross court telegraph passes and want's to take the big shot and sometimes forgets his role on the team. He needs to go home to Dallas or anywhere in Texas. We need a guy who is more athletic that KT, his days are getting old here the guy will give ya gray hairs just watching , never mind coaching him.

Like I said in my other post, no one else on our team can defend, hit jump shots and rebound well all at the same time. He is better all around than most of the palyers on our team.

Houston, Van Horn and our 2 PG's telegraph more passes playa. What is happening to KT is not fiar but it is business.

I know stats don't tell all - but you can't just ignore them.

KT has the 2nd Best assist to Turn Over ratio of the knicks front court players - the best amongst those getting significant playing time. Is he a great passer - NO. But he is not our main problem turnover wise.

it seems to me that people tend to forget that the knicks need other things. while you can't truthfully say kt's not a good player,(good rebounder, nice o/side shot, plays hard) we can't deny our lack of speed, athletisism, youth, & someone w/the balls to take it to the hole. lock & load NY. noone should be safe from trade on this roster. not w/the (talent) we have. kt's value is high, so be patient.

I have no problem with improving our team by trading KT. I just think he is better then a lot of folks give him credit for.

no doubt. he's there best rebounder, & in that sense would be hard to part with. still we need other things. plus, to me what makes a player a good player or what makes a good player a great player is ability to accept his role. kt is a vet, why bitch about a back up role or a secondary role if it's potentally making his team better? example-robinson/duncan.

I hear ya AjFresh, give me Oak, Starks, and Ewing but the problem is they're as old as the stains in your underwear.

I agree I like players that accept their role - at least in public. But these guys make there livings by putting up stats - so I'm afraid in most cases - players are going to be unhappy if they're not getting there minutes. I wish the NBA let players get bonuses based on team wins - so some of their pay was based on how the team does. But as long as they get paid based on stats - most players will complain about playing time.
