Allen Iverson will not become a member of the Knicks, according to multiple adamant sources that spoke with Alan Hahn of Newsday.

One source suggested that Hahn "take a very strong position that the Knicks are not a destination for Iverson."

Another put it succinctly that Iverson's future team is "definitely not" the Knicks.

Yay! He would have been a typical IT move, a really stupid one at that.

Next.

I cannot see Iverson being a Knick. He fits nothing we are striving for. I don't care if people think he'll help us make the playoffs. We don't need to impress Lebron at all. He's already addicted to OUR CITY!!
I love the way Walsh plays poker.
Sessions will come begging for us to sign him in a few more weeks.
Donnie knows this...and if Rubio comes into play soon, Donnie may even drop his offer too Sessions if he still wants to sign him.
Great offseason so far...slow and steady!!

Iverson would replace Nate perfectly-- they're both me-first knuckleheads that will never win anything, they have losing brains.

If you call youyrself a Knick fan and openly root for the signing of Iverson than you are flawed, flawed in many ways, medically. No TRUE Knick fan would want to continue THE ERA OF POISION like this.

Signing AI is an Isiah move.

I think that the situation with Iversen has gone so off the deep end its gotten to a point of absurd. This is the same guy who carried a bad Philadelphia team to the NBA finals on his back and gave a good showing there--maybe the best small player in league history. This is the same guy who played excellent team basketball in his two previous years to Detroit averaged 25-7-3 45% on a winning team. Detroit was just a terrible fit and it showed. It's too bad the Knicks didnt have an AI the last ten years--lets be honest--he got Philidelphia into the playoffs year after year with a poor supporting cast. I think he would be really good here in a 6th man type role--what is poison ivy mean--a guy who has helped his teams to the playoffs almost every year of his career to the finals once first team defensive player scoring leader who also avg 6-7 assists and almost 43 rebounds his entire career? Too much emphasis on one bad year.

You have it all wrong Briggs. Nobody here is saying that Iverson is not a great player, a future hall of famer and like you said the best small player ever...all we're saying is we have a chance to actually build something absolutely perfect. We want to build something with Gallo, Chandler, Hill, Douglas and Sessions (if we sign him). We don't neen AI coming in here throwing up 20+ shots per night. Those are shots that could be for our young guns. Especially in close games...Iverson would shoot every time. We need Gallo and Chandler to get those end of game, tight situation shots so they have something to build on. This is our chance to do this perfect. We've suffered enough the last decade...now it's time we finally get the kind of basketball back that we all here deserve. I guarantee if the Knicks start winning on a regular basis nobody on this blog would complain. It's not about making the playoffs because the players next summer are going to go where the money is. It's not all about winning...look at Hedo...he went from a team that made the Finals to a team that didn't even make the playoffs because of money. He could've went to Portland but he went to Toronto because they offered him just a bit more money. Out of all those free agents available...if people think we won't sign at least 1 ...your nuts. The best part about it is we know Donnie won't overpay for NOBODY!!!! Max guys are Lebron and Wade...If Bosh has a subpar year this year...Donnie won't offer a max unless he already has Lebron. I have no idea what will happen with Lebron or Wade but I do know he loves this city and I do know where there's smoke there's fire.
