This is the most boring off-season in like 10 years!!! You are complaining about images??? I feel like that Iverson vid.

Please dude....during the season nobody will be posting images like we are doing now....there's nothing to even talk about right now.

I tell you what...why don't Martin and Andrew just shut the site down until the season starts so they can save on electricity???

I have no problem with images. I have a problem with a well thought out post replied to in a childish manner with some retarded photo. I have a problem with good threads being derailed as a result.

That's it.

I'm not looking for a crusade here I just noticed that 3 threads were destroyed today because of the childish RealGM style of replying to posts with a simple image of stupidity.

It's not cool and it's not funny. It has it's moments but it has become commonplace literally overnight. I'd rather that doesn't happen here.

Open any 3 threads on RealGM. Any... and you'll see what I'm referring to. It's migrating over here and it's ruined a couple of threads already for no reason at all.

Boredom isn't an excuse to ruin discussion and that's my point. There's other ways to cure boredom around here.

Comparing us to RealGM because we just wanna have some fun and fool around is a joke. RealGM is a wasteland of posters who are mostly 14-16 years old and douchebags like TrueBlue sprinkled in. There are 0 thoughtful discussions that go on over here. This place is nowhere close to becoming RealGM. There are many smart posters over here and nothing has been ruined by anyone.

The threads that are taken seriously are filled with serious replies. The ones that aren't get the joke replies. It has nothing to even do with boredom. People enjoy it. It's not going to be as dry as a dessert in here. Discussion is great but there is also not much to discuss right now. It's also not going to be a forum devoid of any fun. I'm not seeing where something like this you are describing has deliberately destroyed a serious thread. I would like to see examples with links to the threads.

with all respect to cosmic, who's a GREAT poster, i live for the humor on this board. there are some major funny cats who post here, and it gives me a lift to come on here during the day and get cracked up. after all, how much of male bonding is about busting balls and cracking one another up??

Same here...the guys that come through here usually have something to say. very insightful. pics and youtube vids, links, the whole alba thing....its all in fun man. this is definately a male bonding enviroment that even chics can dig. if we were that serious we'd be nothing but a bunch of stooges...(cue the youtube vid)
