i'll say it one more time - TRADE DUHON FOR TJ FORD...

Cosign here, I think Ford would be perfect for D'Antoni's system as long as he stays healthy.

I like Hinrich and think he would also be a good fit but honestly, I'd rather just sign Sesssions and keep Lee than give Lee to the Bulls.

i've never watched a bulls game and came away from it thinking Hinrich was a fantastic passer. He is another guy that drives and kicks for long jumpers. He is not a good interior passer and in transition he often pulls the ball out and sets up for a pull up 15-17 footer which he is only so so at instead of giving the guys filling the lane a chance to make a play at the rim. As for defense your love of billups is blinding you. He isn't number 1 defensively at the point guard and Hinrich definitely not number 2. They may try but they don't have the lateral quickness to stay in front of people or the athleticism to make up for getting beat. Off top Fisher Parker Rondo are all better. CP3 Kidd Davis i'd put ahead of them as well
blind?

Kidd is done.. he cant guard me right now. He was great but if you think he's better than Billups or Hinrich right now your blind... you should watch current TV and not VHS tapes of old Nets and Suns games. Rondo had a great year. Hinrich has been all NBA defensive team just as many times as Rondo has... once. Billups was twice. Whoop de do. Of the PGs Billups, Hinrich, Paul and Rondo are the best right now, and Billups is as good as anyone.

Parker? Playing D and being good arent the same thing.

Love of Billups? Because I called Dumars out on what was a horrible horrible trade now I love Billups? He's a great player, Derek Harper part II. Not blinded by anything. Calling it like I see it.

a slower kidd puts him at the same speed as Kirk and Chancey. However, neither has Kidd's hands or anticipation.

doesn't really matter. Walsh isn't going to blow cap room thru 2012 for a stiff like Hinrich

Fish, what u been smoking? Hinrich? With that albatross contract? That dude is streaky as hell. Fuck Chicago. I would rather have Sessions for the full MLE than Hinrich at that contract. Thank you very much.

I don't understand why the BYC rule exists

I mean its part of the CBA, but who does it benefit? And who would push for it in CBA negotiations?

The players & team mgmt alike don't benefit b/c it limits players salaries, player transactions etc.

Agree that the Knicks & Lee (and Robinson) are getting screwed by the BYC??

Also, the 3 month moratorium on dealing a guy after a signed contract is a needless obstacle that should be eliminated.

or a broken down chucking fatboy like Baron Davis either... guess we both have to be patient then

because Lee was eligible for an extension last summer. Say we gave him a 5 year $50mm extension last summer. Well, he's still only making the $2mm or whatever his rookie deal pays him during the year. The BYC thing is so we cant trade a guy due to make $50mm for another guy only making $2mm just because their current salaries match.

he's getting paid what Dre Miller just signed for, he's 6 years younger and plays defense.

Anyway the point was I would take back Hinrich if the Bulls took JJ because I think that makes salary sense for us and definatly fills a need

Hinrich is another pg who spends most his time going east and west with the ball. his 3pt shooting and What he brings defensively doesn't offset his lack of creativity offensively enough to absorb that much salary for that many years.
we were talking about Kirk Hinrich.

I could see him quickly becoming an all star under MDA

I could see him quickly becoming the focus of everyone's venom when we realize... he's just Kirk Hinrich and not this mythical beast of a player that somehow everyone thinks players the Knicks acquire can become. Especially when you see his contract.

Hinrich?

Again...if we're S&T'ing David Lee to the Bulls - let some third team pick up Chicago's unwanted players - and we'll take back what that third team is offering.

Hinrich. Really? We're going to bust our 2010 FA Cap space load here in the summer of 2009 for Hinrich?

Man, this need to trade for ANYTHING in 2009 to be barely mediocre in 2009 really has wheels with some of ya. I don't see it and I don't understand it.

I'd rather CUT David Lee than take back Hinrich!

I hope Donnie feels the same way. If Chicago doesn't want it? Neither should we. Haven't we learned? Hinrich, Tyrus... yuck just YUCK.

does nobody read what I wrote?

Hinrich comes to us if the Bullls take JJ. That adds about $2mm to our cap next year and we dont have a PG close to as good as Hinrich.

I dont think he would get venom because he scores, gets people involved and plays his ass off everynight on defense. I think Knick fans would be pretty pumped to see him.

We havent had a guy that played defense since who? Seriously... who was the last?

DJ, bark twice if you want us to trade for Sessions, bark twice if you want to trade for Heinrich.

The irony is that the pic is meant as an insult to D'Antoni (even if it's a joke) but yet it says PLAYOFFS in the background.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Are you the representative for Chris Mullin? Please go away. My post wasn't really being that serious. I just made an observation about the irony there. Go back into hiding and come back out when it's time to bash Walsh and push Avery Johnson again.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.
