Ok4 for T Chandler?

Outside of the fact that Okafor is 3 inches shorter than Chandler, you really cannot argue with the trade from the Hornets' prespective. Okafor is a slightly better scorer and rebounder and I expect his scoring per game to jump 2-3 pts just due to the fact that he will be playing with Paul. Yeah his contract is longer, but for a slightly undersized center, he is not grossly overpaid and is only 26 yrs old. Great move by the Hornets. The Bobcats are making a cost cutting move. Chandler is not a huge dropoff in talent and his deal ends 3 years sooner.

Like you said , Chandler is taller and a legit C....Brown likes that. He will be the defensive anchor for a decent Defensive team. Ok4 is a good defensive player too, but like you said his contract is abit much.

OK4 will do well with Paul and will see an increase in pts most likely.

I think the trade suits both teams well.

ok4 has not really lived up to the #2 billing. so they decided to cut their losses and save $40 mil. and new orleans has a player alot better than chandler since he actually stays on the court. i don't see how this is a bad deal for either team.

I just read on RealGM that the Bobcats also sent a #1 Pick along with Okafor for Chandler. WHAT A HORRIBLE TRADE.

i don't see it that way at all. you just got a team to take $40 mil off your hands, asking for a #1 pick is more than reasonable and is most definitely not a deal breaker if your charlotte. that team is losing money left and right.

That makes sense. This is all about the money. Still a good trade for the Bobcats ; one has to know when to cut bait. Okafor is way more overrated than you guys are letting on and he is being paid superstar jack in an unstable economy.

Larry was funny as hell saying OKA4 does not have the passion except to stretch and take care of himself.

Larry is an Ass, but I dig his passion and love for the game and winning!

Dude is old, rich as hell and he is still in there trying to make a team of the BOBcats to build his rep.

I know, "Larry Love"!! but you can say a lot about the old dude, but he does have the passion.

THe main thing that was missing. And in the end, it was larry that was right all along.

Not perfect, not always right, but in the big picture he knew what needed to be done and how wrong Isiah really was!

i think chandler is still one of the top defenders at the center position in the league
