you guys just wait until the summer of 2011!

Anyone that says this should precede it with a "We should have kept Crawford and Zach! We were finals bound last year! Fire Walsh!!!!"

As the 2010 guys re-up, this is getting to be a serious poker game. Will Walsh fold?

My contention has been that he should have put all of the chips in at the trade deadline with Lee and Nate in deals to move Jeffries.

Not making that move confuses me as to what the real goal is.

I was not a fan of that move when it was first reported (JJ & Nate to Sac) - and who knows, maybe Sac backed out.

But, if we're not signing Nate to any long term deal, and looking to replace him with TD, then surely Walsh was equipped with this foreknowledge - I mean, if Walsh did not have an idea of what he would do with Nate during the off season prior to the trade deadline, he should be fired.

TommyDee said in his chat he thinks that DW is stunned Nate/Lee didn't get an offer so he could move him in a s-n-t.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Tommy Dee also said Donnie and Mike were too busing high-fiving each other to complete the Zach Randolph deal to Memphis last summer. Dude has 0 idea of what he's talking about.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I think this is a team getting better. As Eny mentioned its better managed and better coached. We had a 10 game improvement and a major culture change. It looks like all the main cogs will be back and thats good. I think we will see improvement from guys like Chandler. Gallo is excited about being an impact player here and you have a group of guys that have expiring contracts and are all open about wanting to be here in Harrington, Lee and Nate.

I dont know if Hill or Douglas makes the rotation. I could see Hughes having a good year.

If there is a problem its that we have a lot of mediocre rotation guys and not all are going to get minutes. Playing 10-11 guys doesnt work in the NBA.

It did for Rick Pitino when he was our coach back in the day.

And given how similar in talent most of our players are, I'd love to see a similar effort to out run and out defend the other team.

Or at least really run all out, since our coach is who he is.

I didn't put this post up to be a downer, just curious to see who people think we're going to end up with given the latest moves with Nash and some of the other 2010 guys and the new cap projections.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Wade and LeBron aside.....If you are asking what I would be happy with, I would go with Amare and Joe Johnson and the only name you mentioned that I would be close to interested in trade is Caron Butler. Deng is a walking physical therapy exam...Rip at this point is too old...

I would love to see a lineup of something like:

Johnson
Butler
Gallo
Chandler
Amare

Hill, Douglas off the bench

Ive had some mixed feelings about cap space from the get go. I'm happy because I like what I see. DWs moves are long term moves that seem to fit into something bigger. Its not about a quick fix or a splashy trade. Its about building a roster up with young talent and changing a culture here. DW knows he doesnt have the luxury of tanking for 5 years hoping that he lands a franchise player in the lottery.

Out: Crawford, Zach, Marbury, Q, Balkman, Jerome
In: Harrington, Hughes, Duhon, Gallinari, Hill, Douglas
