Lee/Millsap on the same team???

I don't think so. Overkill. Duplication of PF position.

I think Utah or San Antonio will be great place for Lee to improve himself as bbal player.
No distractions and style of bbal and management will help him a lot.
I am not sure why he is so upset that Knicks are not crazy about sign contract with him.
He can end up in much better environment elsewhere and get more appreciation from the fans.
There are NO players that are good for Knicks fans regardless...

A lot of people will see obvious thing same way.
We all know how NY fans were treating Pat and Huston blaming them for Knicks failures for nothing.
This is nothing new about it and nobody expecting this to change... including NBA players

Pat and Houston got their share of hate, sure. But this hate is different. Pat and Allan were respected as warriors who gave their best and sometimes their best wasn't good enough. I don't agree with shunning them for a time like we did but to compare them when the teams were doing great to the lowly Knicks led by a guy who plays 0 defense and is really not a $10 million a year basketball player is just wrong. I don't think anyone is under appreciating David Lee at all.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Also, maybe those moments when Ewing was getting booed lasted in our memories strongly but 99.999999% of Ewing's career, he got loud standing ovations from Knicks' fans.

We're doing Utah a favor- we should be getting our bloody # 1 back to where it belongs- with the Knicks.

They're giving us the better player and the better (expiring) contract but we're doing them a favor? You gotta explain that for me.

I am not comparing the players. I am talking about fans.
We want players to be 100% of what we want them to be. And we are setting ourselves for big disappointment.
It is not about how much we pay for DLee, it is about can we get anything better for the same money? Can we?

Boozer traded would mean one starts and the other backs up - and likely in a platoon fashion. Now, if Utah is serious about this, that's their problem to figure out.

If Lee is a role player then you have no starters since he is your best player. Lebron is going to come play with no guys that can start on a championship team.

We know we have no starters. I would say Harrington is the only player to make a case that he is an NBA starter here.

As to LeBron, again, take him off the Cavs what do you have? Take Wade off the cHeat what do you have? Yeah, a crappy 30 win team.

You add LeBron to this present Knick roster you win 50+ games.

So....what are we talking about here? Knicks suck? We know this. It's necessary when you're tearing down someone elses' mess. This is a process that will take at least 1 more year to finish taking out the trash - and then a couple of years to assemble a brand new team.

Knicks should be in the 2010-2011 playoffs, the 2011-2012 "top 5 EC teams" talk, and the 2012-2013 title contention talks - if all goes well.

Where was Isiass taking us? Up to about 245 million in guaranteed 2013 salary and 35 wins that's what.

David Lee isn't our best player and Knicksfan, yes, he is indeed a bot.

Only meant that they seem more anxious to get rid of him than we are to trade Lee, at least from what I have read.

I actually don't understand why they would want Lee, actually. They have Millsap, and must know that Lee cannot play center. Lee seems redundant.

By the way, would we have to send another player to them to equal out the contracts? Boozer is at $12M- probably at least $4M more than Lee will get. How does that work, exactly?

I think the trade would be for Milsap and not Boozer. Milsap for Lee makes more sense anyway.
