I hope that is not the song players will be signing in 2010.

You know perfectly well there will be at least a couple of times that will be the case. It's been going like this for years.
I blame Isiah for whining and dinning Erick Dampier at the stake house to get a stake sub. Then Isiah took Stromile Swift to the club. lol Ever since then everyone has been singing "New York New York"

reggie miller was singing the song back in 1996. he was pissed when allan houston signed and took away his leverage with indiana - though he never intended to leave. donnie knows the score because he's been on the other side.

No, that is the complete opposite. Miller as well as Tim Hardway wanted to come to New York. They both have stated that's why they hated New York so much in TV interviews and on radio. Dan Patrick has asked Miller the story several times. I'm talking about guys using New York now while we are losing games. When the Knicks were winning players really did want to come here.

really? i don't know if i remember that. ick, it's too painful to even think about if that's true.

Tim Hardaway
Reggie
LJ
Oak
Ewing

are you freaking kidding me?

At the time the rumor was Tim Hardway, Karl Malone, and Reggie Miller. Getting Houston was not bad to me compared to picking Chris Childs over Tim Hardway.

Sessions will be contacted but the Bucks can match...Miller could be trying to play us too...

All we can do is hope not bash Donnie.....Donnie is doing all the right moves...can't get mad if things just don't happen. It takes two...

I too, would rather have Sessions. AMiller is good but he is older. Sessions can grow with the team.

Milwaukee might match and if they do, then go after Miller.

The trend in basketball and baseball Free Agency is to wait to sign until just before camp. I think that this could take until late September to play out.

Hmm, I could have sworn he said he was not coming here in any way, but maybe I was wrong. We say we dream of having Miller, but just remember, we could have had Steve Smith also! Thank god we didn't get him, b/c his career was pretty much on the downside soon after that.

that was my original point: that reggie miller was trying to use the knick as leverage back then the way hill, kidd and andre miller are now.

Oh I know figured. The first time I remember it was Phil Jackson in 1999. This has probably been going on for a very long time.
