could anyone other than "zero objectivity" comment on hill?

Has had a few good moves. He's mechanical down low and is a work in progress. I think the "next Amare" hype by D'Antoni has ruined this guy in the eyes of the fans. He wont ever come close. On defense he's not really a factor right now. Let's be honest though, David Lee has about the same offensive moves as Hill. Hill will be good off the pick and roll.

duhon to hill...shades of stockton to malone...

Nice shot block there by Hill.. all ball and it went off Crittendon.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Nice block by Hill, the difference between McGee and Hill, McGee's teammates knows how to get him the ball, while the Knicks everyone is out for theirs

Duhon to Lee was actually Magic to Kareem so it's a downgrade.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Pathetic might not even be accurate enough

I was gonna mention the same about these Knick guards. They really aren't trying to get the ball to their big men. Its a free for all on the perimeter.

I keep hearing Hill can hit that 15 foot jumper, but I haven't seen it at all...

That's funny because I heard he is still learning how to do that, hence the inconsistency.

Hill has some offensive skills in the post. And he's a live defender. Something I don't take lightly. He has quick hands on defense which help him pick up loose balls and block some shots. He will struggle like all rookies. I'm really looking forward to his improvement. I think he'll be a terrific SL player by next year. Which means he will be a contributor in 2010.

Why would the 8th pick in the draft how to learn how to shoot the basketball, learn how to get into shape, learn how to be assertive, and learn how to be active?

Just wondering....

Hill has been unimpressive at best. I heard he was going to dominate SL and awe us with his athleticism and ability to "get after it" and he's done nothing of the sort.

I think he deserves criticism.

I didn't hear he would dominate SL but nice try there.

How has he done nothing of that sort in terms of athleticism and "getting after it"? Because he's not scoring? He hustles out there so yes he is "getting after it". And we have seen his athleticism quite a bit.

He is a project, end of story.

Criticize him if you want but I don't criticize rookies in SL, nor do I praise them. I wait a while before I label them a bust. Like at least one or two years. That is usually when raw players are going to start showing something or wont at all.

So we drafted an unskilled, lazy, overrated, project at #8? Destined to, if he ever "develops" be a backup PF? Wonderful...thanks for confirming my feelings on him so far.

Dude's not even 1/4th of what he was said to be and he's gotten absolutely SHAT on by Daye, Summers, McGee, and others. Stone hands. Slow. Lazy. Clueless. Raw. Project.

But, well, I guess I should lay off because "big men take time to develop" right?

This guy is a scrub right now plain and simple. No need to defend his complete lack of impressive play. Balkman had a much superior SL showing. That's just sad.
