btw...all the power fwd prospects that are at or above David Lee's talent level are getting 6 years and 50 mil...5 yrs 40 mil...2 years mid-level....

Charlie, McDyess, Marion, Zach was traded...running outta spots...though I now believe Orlando needs to try and get David...that team needs a sidekick for Howard. Howard erases all of Lee's pathetic defense and post presence...and will get tons of rebounds and easy dunks off the sheer fact that everyone else will be doubling off him.

as long as the knicks get something good like a pick and a player...its all good...

Trade exception and a late no.1 is probably even worse than Blake and Outlaw. Too bad Orlando would have nothing else to throw in but the rights to Fran Vazquez

Yes they must. Nets were in totally different circumstances. They needed the picks and did not have any terrible contracts to move at the time. I'd rather get 0 picks back and just trade Jeffries with Lee. The cap is decreasing next year and we now are in desperate need for more room.

YES IT IS. The cap is going down. Jeffries and Curry take up a large part of that cap. We aren't signing a superstar here unless we have room to sign 2 superstars. That has to be our selling point - putting a superstar duo together in NY. Nobody is coming here to play with Chandler and Eddy Curry.

Orlando's first rounder next year might only be a couple picks better than that Clipper 2nd rounder we own.

Miami Cleveland Chicago and Dallas can sell the same thing and give their superstar the 6th year.

donnie is paddling upstream with this put two superstars together plan.

if Orl and Lee are interested in each other, david lee for the tpe and 1st(s) or the tpe reddick and 1st(s) (if you can combine the 2) is a clean easy deal. no byc issues, no making salaries match, no extra lux tax implications for the Magic.
