All of the criticisms you people have against Palin can just as easily be applied to any Democrat. It's a formula.
I can't imagine how badly the press would have beaten up on Obama if he had claimed that his expertise on Russia stemmed from his ability to see the country from his backyard.
I mean, only the most extreme conservatives are defending here still. It was fun seeing Ed Rollins basically abandon her yesterday.

Why is she even relevant? That is what I don't understand.

Because she's hot.

She was until she opened her mouth. I suppose you could gag and tag that.

The day she started rattling off the names of her children I thought my head was going to explode.

Hmmmm..I certainly left that post open to interpretation didn't I.

She is relevant because McCain was electable and perhaps if the ball bounced the right way he could have won, she would have been VP, and one cardiac event away from he being the President of the United States!

Hypocracy is at its worst when the Demoracy tries to legislate morality! Reagan Opened a bad pandoras box when he let Falwell into the scene but it did get a lot of votes!!!!

How hard is it to run Alaska with its surplus revenue derived from oil?

Especially when Oil was at all time high's last year. Now its down, a recession and she is challanged in a tough environment. She has not executive skill so she bailing.

She is way over her head and has been for some time.

IN retrospect, WTF was anyone thinking????

the big story, which will break any day, is that she's been having an affair with manny ramirez.

They'd make a good couple.

Actually, Palin and Sanford are going to have a joint press conference announcing that they are soul mates.

It is really quite stunning. While I don't like her politically, I hope this isn't some serious situation with her personal life, health, family, etc. I think if this was a poloitical move, she would have had a more detailed explanation.

She's facing major ethics complaints and I wouldn't be surprised if a indictment is coming down the road for her.

By far my favorite Gov **** up has to be Sanford. What a major joke that guy is the GOP is in horrendous shape almost every person that's been mentioned for a possible 2012 run has been involved in some kind of scandal.

Sept. 2, 2008

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, in a video interview with Newsweek, posted on YouTube, discussed the coverage of Sen. Hillary Clinton. Palin criticizes Clinton for her response to media scrutiny she received while on the campaign trail.

Palin says,

"When I hear a statement like that coming from a woman candidate with any kind of perceived whine about that excess criticism or, you know, maybe a sharper microscope put on her, I think, man, that doesn’t do us any good. Women in politics, women in general wanting to progress this country. I don’t think it’s, it bodes well for her -- a statement like that."

The presumptive Republican vice presidential nominee says that Clinton should just "work harder" and "prove yourself to an even greater degree that you are capable."

Palin explains, “I think she does herself a disservice to even mention it, really. I mean, you’ve got to plow through that. You have to know what you’re getting into which, I say this with all due respect to Hillary Clinton and to her experience and to her passion for changing the status quo.”

The Alaska Governor concludes, “It bothers me a little bit, hearing, hearing her bring that attention to herself on that level.”

Perhaps the gubernatorial responsibilities were interfering with time she needed to spend "paling around with terrorists." She was just projecting when she said that about Obama.

The FBI today has stated that they are NOT investigating Sarah Palin. And she said today that she has "a higher calling." This can only mean a religious zealot has emerged. IMO, she probably is going to lead the anti-abortion, anti-gay marriage; anti-Liberal; anti anything that doesn't fit her beliefs and hope to get a large following. Just a guess.

And when she snuffs out baby Trigg she'll have every sympathy vote wiping out her bailing on Alaska.

WE have created a monster I fear.

The only saving grace we have is she is ignorant and arrogant that will eventually trip her up.

Why this women keeps getting free passes is beyond me.

The news was stunning. As a liberal, I was really hoping she'd get the Republican Presidential nomination! It looks like that won't happen though.

THis is my hope too. If the Republicans are pinning their hopes on Palin, then we don't have to worry about Obama' reelection.

Thank God we elected Obama. McCain would probably have had us in the middle of a war with Korea and Iran right now and would have let the country fall into a depression while we waited for trickle down economics to work.

Trust the Process

I like the analogy to Marbury. Both are capable of saying the dumbest things. Both have an inflated opinion of themselves. Both of them have made themselves into laughing stocks.
