This is the problem. yall are living in the past. the knicks must start to be about the future.
NoOoOoOo this is the problem, you dont have a clue about this thread because your a fake knick fan.Your signature speaks for its self.

I am a fan of the Knicks but any wins will only hurt this team because they will be less likely to get a #1 pick in the draft. Wake up! We need to lose. Losing is winning. We are not going anywhere with this team.

I want more for the Knicks than just making the playoffs. I want them to win a CHAMPIONSHIP. We were in the playoffs throughout the 90's without winning one. This team is very badly managed and constructed. What does getting to the playoffs and being eliminated prove? We'd be right back at square one.

I will not be satisfied until the Knicks win a championship. If you want to defend Dolan, Laydone, Chaney and Van Horn that's your business. Please allow me to express my opinion without being told I'm "not a fan".

Only if we had A.Einstein or ME our lineup would have been like this

Camby-Deke
Nene-Thomas-Lampe
Artest-Spree
Houston-Anderson
Miller-Ward

If we would have never made the Dyess trade, we would not have had that 2003 30th pick that LayDown used to draft Lampe with in the first place. That is, unless we would have drafted him in the 1st round. Had we done that, LayDown may not have been able to buy out that contract.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Hardcore, Your right, but its the internet: where all things are, or were possible!

Orange and blue: Your procrastinations are without backbone. You are not satisfied until.......I guess you'll just jump on the bandwagon when things are good.

That is spineless. Unless your like under 9 years old where kids love the latest and greatest.

Falcinder: Bonner! forgot about him. he could bang witht he best of them. He'd be a great hockey goon!

Anybody remember Toby Knight from Notre Dame? Before he blew his knee out?

UH OH remember Eddie Lee Wilkins dude was always played with ashy legs. But he was killing guys in the paint. LOL
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

You don't know me so don't be talking like you do. Read my posts. I've been entirely consistent. I'm sick of watching has-beens play while our future stars sit mouldering on the bench or play in Europe. I'm sick of the Knicks being controlled by the cynical and soul-sucking Dolan-Laydone regime.

The sooner the Knicks go on an extended losing streak, the sooner we get more young players to build our future and the sooner we get rid of the Dolan-Laydone regime.

Going on a losing streak will only convince the Dolan's to get more veteran players. Remember he admitted he knows nothing about basketball. I agree that the younger players need more playing time but going on a losing streak is not the way Chaney will let the kids play.

Chaney needs to win to have job security as well. He's a coach to get immidiate wins not to develop younger players and build a franchise. The knicks are not going to win till Dolan own's them. It's impossible because he makes enough money of them when they are just making the playoffs.

It's funny that you two are arguing about something you are both right about. Both of you made valid points, so after factoring those in the equation, what will those results amount to?

I'm sick of the Knicks being controlled by the cynical and soul-sucking Dolan-Laydone regime.

Thats pathetic. You sound like such a bad ass-take no crap kind of a guy, yet Dolan and Layden control you?

I think you are so afraid of being hurt and disappointed that your just gonna sit back and wait until they really start to win so incase they don't, you can proudly say "see, I told you they suck."

Its like saying, your not gonna get in the stock market until it goes up. By then its safe to go in, but you have not made a dime.

Im not naive, give this team a chance. If it does not work, we have in place a rebuild plan with lots of rookies, a (so far) number one pick, and milos whom it would mostly take money to get here. If they suck, the pick gets better. And we have assets now to trade up in the draft.

Fortunes change quickly. In two months, the Knicks future looks brighter than the NEts! Keep your eyes open and look ahead. Looking at the past is easy.

Losers harp on the past and lament on what could have been. Winners are not afraid to lose and keep trying to envision and work on what could be.
Losers stay where they are

give this team a chance.

Give them a chance? Dolan and Laydone have blown too many chances by signing guys like Weatherspoon, Eisley, Anderson and Keith Van Horn and overpaying so many mediocre players that the knicks are now the laughingstocks of the league - one of the worst teams with the biggest payroll. Now THAT is pathetic.

You have a lot more faith in Dolan-Laydone than I do. This team will never improve until they gone.

By the way, the Blazers are going to INCINERATE the Knicks tonite!
