problem is they have nothing we'd want in return... no thanks to guys like Jordan Farmar, Luke Walton, Adam Morrison or Sasha Vujacic, i'd rather just keep Nate in that case.

if the offer was something like Derek Fisher's expiring & LA's unprotected pick in 2010, i might reconsider but only as a very last option... i think we should be able to get back more than that in a trade for Nate Rob.

glad you saw the light on that bum Sasha. I just knew we were in store for an an in SSOL he is Drazen Petrovic re-incarnated post.

Nate is a borderline superstar. His talent is off the charts. The Knicks fans can't devalue his worth.

Oh, you know they have and will continue to do so...he'll go to L.A or somewhere and rack up All-Stars and chips. A common mistake fans of losing teams make is dumping every player in the trash heap as if every single player is a problem.

Nate is not a problem, but he is not a solution. He is luxury item... and LA can afford it. Knicks not.

how do we really know that? Nate is a developing player on a consistently bad team.

Nate is prob one of those guys that is similar to Ariza, on a bad team he is mediocre with flashes of good to great, but on a playoff team with strong leaders, he can flourish.

He probably would end up being like that. I guess that's the problem with Nate and Lee, if you pay them, your team probably never becomes an elite team because it hinders your chances at getting a franchise player, but if you let them walk or trade them, they'll flourish on good teams. Catch 22.

you only run into this problem when you repeatedly trade away or waste high draft picks on mid to late round talent.

Aren't you the same "lemming" who blindly followed Marbury?

I don't blindly follow anyone. I observe what Walsh is doing and I have liked what I have seen so far. That's really the bottom line. I have no problems with clearing cap room and rebuilding this roster.

And no, I hated Isiah since 2005 so that doesn't make much sense to me either.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

you can't be serious. I'm not trueblue so I won't go 4 years back in the past to prove my stance on Steph since the 04 play-off or the direction of NY in general but I'm far from a lemming and even further from being a Steph-lover.

It was stupid to ostracize him when he was finally an asset after years of letting him get away with murder while getting a negative return on the investment.

Nate as starting guard last season:

G Min fgM fgA Pct 3fgM 3fgA Pct ftM ftA Pct Off Def Tot Ast TO Stl Blk PF PPG
11 38:00 7.6 17.1 44.2 1.6 5.4 28.8 4.4 5.4 81.4 2.2 3.4 5.6 5.0 2.5 1.3 0.2 2.9 21.0

And he still hasn't reached his zenith IMO. Lebron or Wade wouldn't wanna play with him

Bro the dude sucks even though his jersey being in the top 10 sellers pulling a ton of dough and placing fannies in the seats of empty areas. Everyone is down on this dude, yes his personality is a bit much but dude can play. All I see is this yammering about Sessions and other players if Nate was on any other team and putting up the numbers above your candy asses would be all on his dick. That's the NY way I guess, draft players and not develop them, then trade them and then watch them win championships with other teams.

he was hitting some real big shots for the Lakers in '08... dunno what happened to him in '09 but after he signed that contract extension seems like his game took a serious dip... i'm not ashamed to say i was wrong about that guy... i said i would have signed him to a 2 year MLE contract before last season but looking back that probably would have been a mistake.

Nate Robinson is an annoying clown who is a ballhog and plays out of control. End of story.

Are you saying through this cartoon that Nate buys into the team concept, and that he will do anything, or sacrifice everything, for the betterment of the team?

Nahhhhh,

I expect that MDA would not one of the lemmings holding up a scoring card. I would also thing that Nate would enjoy the attention of being a lemming if he knew hewas being scored.

There are a lot of things to like about Nate as a player, but his size is a limiting factor on D, and he loses control of his game too often for MDA. He may actually benefit from having a guy like James or Kobie to keep him under control as a player.
