Rust aside, loss aside, it was pretty nice to see Dyess on the floor last night. The guy has been out of the game for over a year and he is still in better shape then the rest of his team - he is a pretty big guy and if he can get his skills back he will definitely help this team (just keep that knee from crumbling Antonio).

poor allen. i think it's chaney's job to call the plays, is'nt it? why would someone take the blame for someone else's screwups? we might as well take the 4th quarter play book & drop it in the apposing teams' lap.....never mind we all know what it says anyway.....(GIVE THE BALL TO AL.)

If McDyess does what he used to do, we can have Championship dreams yet again!

KNicks rolled the Dice and came up 7-11

Was I the only one who got this pun? Nice work, V-mart.
Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

Yeah, I noticed that one too.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Adding a talent like McDyess raises the Knicks' expectations, but finding the right chemistry will be a process. I will Chaney 10 games with Dice so the players learn to play with a fwd who can run the floor and get easy buckets.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I give Scott LayDown 10 games to make a trade happen that will put better passers and ballhandlers on the floor.

Layden has had 5 years to do that and hasn't done much. We are stuck with Shandon Anderson, Eisely, Clarence and Othella which is what is killing us the most salary cap and playing time considered.

Mo Pete wouldn't help much. We need Fwill to play more minutes and KVH and Houston to have a defined role. That wont happen till later on in the season when the whole team plays a few games together. I think we should be patient & watch this team till we know what our current players will give us when everyone is healthy. A healthy team is a good team with a lot of potential.

Once we know what this team is going to give us, we will know exactly what is needed and a more effecient trade can be executed. All I know is a healthy McDyess playing next to Alan and KVH is a good team. Add an expirienced Fwill and Deke to that 3some and we are golden.
