Jordan Hill is the type of guy that other teams get to select on draft night, not the Knicks. The Knicks lucked out and Donnie was back on his game although I think it is similar to the Granger pick. "holy crap, how the hell did you get to us" Still nice scouting.

There is a very good chance Holiday will be what is conisdered a bust for a lottery pick. He maybe a bust for the 17th pick in the draft. Hill was the best player available, the most ready, and may have the most upside. He is a talented big man. In my opinion he will have a much more successful career than Gallo who will be lucky if he can justify being taken in the first round of last years draft. I don't get the pass on Gallo and the hate on Hill. Hill is a good, proven player with alot of intangibles and he wasn't a stretch, a show how smart I am pick, an I am locked in on a player who is no where near the talent of the other players available with this pick, an I am taking this guy no matter what so other teams can plan their draft boards around it pick, or a I am taking him despite at least other gms knowing he has a back injury that will limit the number of games he can play and could seriously impact his career pick. I have no problem trashing Walsh for his mistakes and I think about how bad he messed up last year every day. I have followed b-ball for along time and I know when a gm makes a mistake that will impact a team for the next 10 years. Walsh got this draft right. Maybe it was because he wasn't fighting cancer. Maybe it was because he had been on the job for awhile and had his guys in place. Maybe it was because it wasn't hard to see what the right pick was. This is not the pick to criticize or pick a part. That guy is rehabbing and hopefully will be ready for training camp and maybe he will be able to bend a little lower so his dribble isn't so high.

dude, if u wanna judge players off that 1 game Austin Daye shoulda been a top 3 pick.

personally i wouldn't have minded if we'd drafted this good looking prospect out of Arizona instead... maybe i should pick her in the Alba draft.
