I read they see them as Joe Dumars Isiah Thomas. The only hope we have of getting him is if the legal situation affects him. I dont know. Im very dejected.

But I hear the rumor is Nate Robinson and Jordan Hill, but how does that work? Nate isnt signed and would he sign to go to Minnesota? David Lee for Rubio, Brian Cardinal and Craig Smith? Would they take Jeffries too? That I wouldnt mind. But no Curry, no Lebron? Urgh.

like i said a while ago, NY is the logical place cuz of his buyout issues... he'll be able to find a corporate sponsor to pay the fare on that buyout in NY most likely... we can offer up Chandler or Lee in a S&T after July 1st.

Walsh & Kahn have an idea of what Lee is going to ask for. Perhaps not an exact number, but a range. Once July 1 rolls around, Walsh calls up Lee's agent and says - good news, here is Lee's new contract. BTW, he's going to Minny.

You will see these guys drafted not getting signed to contracts so they can be traded. Once signed- then yes- it is Dec 15th or so.

They wanted James Johnson with the 3rd pick but the Bulls took him. So they had trade lined up.

Kahn probably knew that Curry would be taken by GS, but that GS might pass on Rubio, or THEY (GS) would use Rubio to trade with us, and and either way we would get Rubio without giving up anything to Minny. By taking Rubio at 5, they give up the larger rookie contract if they trade him to us, and get whatever they are going to get from us.

If anyone can explain why Minny would keep Rubio and Flynn, and how they would use them together, would they please tell me.


By the way, if a sign and trade is involved, could this have been announced today?
