This was just discussed. It's not final yet. Stop jumping the gun on stuff. Lock this sucker up till further notice.

I'm gonna go with 0/0/0 so I can be right if the deal is not completed.

It just feels like it's at the cusp, you know how you get a feeling when a deal is just right? it's so right, it's going to go down, we've been keeping an eye on darko for the better part of the last decade

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Who was the guy Jordan drafted number one in the Curry draft? He is the ultimate bust and is barely a servicable nba player. Darko hasn't lived up to his draft status but he is at least a very good back up 5 with tremendous size.

Kwame Brown.

And shame on everyone getting on Darko. He's a big reason the Pistons won the title. No joke. They grab Melo? They don't have any of that four-all-star team chemistry that nabbed them the title. Team work won them those finals. Melo would have sunk that chemistry with his need to dominate the ball and they would not have won it all. I truly believe that.

I think Darko is a lazy mofo. All I need to do is look at his free throw % to know that he has no intention of getting better.

Melo is so happy that he didn't have to play for Larry Brown. Larry would have destroyed his career before it started. Just imagine if Darko was picked behind Melo. Their careers might have gone in other directions.

I never saw it like that. Good point. Evil Old larry did nothing but ride the young arrogant dude cuz he was not pro ready and willing to work hard. Larry does not coddle his kids, he thinks if your an NBA player you are expected to be a professional. Darko was 17 and not ready for the mans game and take showers with "big" Ben Wallce.

It takes big men much longer to develop at times than smaller guys. Perhaps darko in a faster paced system will get a higher % of close range shots and score the ball more than he has. I think one thing from watching darko--he should rely more on getting good position and getting those high % looks than relying on that line drive 12 footer he likes to take. Listen if we get Darko for basically nothing--that is a good trade. Hes not the second coming but he should be able to be effective if he plays smart basketball--and you know what--we havent had a 7 footer in years who can give us a decent ball game.

LMFAO that was exactly what I was going to post.

In reality, unless this guy has a rebirth of sorts, he's not giving any more than his career best of 5.5/4.0/1.2 in 17 minutes of production.

I don't see why he'd explode into what he was expected to be I think he's proven he's nothing like the hype that came with him.

He's certainly NOT a 35mpg player. You can't just assume he will double his minutes and thus his stats and have no problem with fatigue or foul trouble or the like. Just unreasonable to expect as much from ANY spot minute player (like, uh, Gortat for example).

Can we really say Darko is a real "Mother Phucher" or does he just talk?

Knicks make playoffs there could be a game on Mothers day.

Knicks can run a promotion. Dildo Darko bobble heads!!!!

Bill Veeck got nothing on what Nalod could could promote if given the chance. The young girls might miss DLee next year but the Milfs and Cougars got Darko!

This is a no lose situation. Richardson is gone and we get a guy whose contract expires this year. If he gives us the kind of year he gave Orlando a few years ago he is worth the trade, and if we like him and he likes MDA and this team, we sign him next year for less than he is making now. If he is not injured we get an above average shot blocker and a guy with an attitude giving us 15-25 MPG.

People should stop thinking about him as the lottery bust of the decade and make believe he was a late second round pick. He looks a lot more attractive if you look at him that way.

^^ MDA will give Darko more than enough time to prove if he can contribute. Darko fills many needs on our team, shot blocking, defense..and since he is new to the Knicks, he will have more time than normal, because he needs to adjust, retool, and focus

MDA more often than not has taken the David v Goliath approach in regards to the C spot.

It just seems MDA would rather put a lineup that will feature a 5 who'll outrace/outquick than go pound for pound.

Value wise, it's a fair trade if it happens. Neither player is that good right now. Both have a year left. Darko fills a bigger need on our roster for the coming season than Q.
